Dell isn't as good as it used to be. Crap everything is getting more fragile. More powerful computers break easier. Remember when phones were unbreakable bricks that could only call, text, and maybe play snake or Tetris, but they cost $1 per text? And you had minutes?

Well, I don't really have anything I need to backup.

 

 Everything I've got on here is either programs I can easily download again with no trouble, games that are all saved by Steam cloud, stuff like that. Nothing important that would be taken with the laptop failing. I just don't want it to fail since this is kinda the only one I have and can't really afford a new one.

Except that fan issue. If it's that noisy you might want to have it looked at or be in a cooler room.

Well, the fan is probably being caused partially by dust (Which I'm going to clean, but I need some compressed air first) and how hot it is in the house.

 

 We live in Florida. It's really hot, and our air conditioning is not working. So the entire house is practically catching on fire, and even with windows open and fan on full blast it's barely helping. So, my laptop probably doesn't like that.

In summer it's always hot in Oklahoma. I can't really use my gaming pc much because the thing is pretty much a space heater that plays games lol so I know what you mean with the heat. You guys probably need to get that ac fixed. That's pretty important to have.....not for your computing equipment but for your health also. Overheating is not fun in the hundred and ten degree sun
