(Only 709791 to go!)

I shared a PMV of one of Weird Al Yankovic's songs with my 13 year old brother a few days ago, because he is a Weird Al fan.

When talking about the PMV today, I mentioned that Weird Al appeared in MLP as Cheese Sandwich, the pony he saw in the PMV. He asked if he could watch the episode Cheese appeared in.

Half an hour later, he asked if I had the first episode. I shared the two-parter with him, along with some other episodes I thought he would enjoy. So... it's possible that he's becoming a brony.

Unfortunately, my parents are very strict about what our family watches. My mother became convinced that Frozen has a gay agenda, therefore it's a sinful show. I feel like she will pick apart the show, trying to find a satanic agenda in it.

Keep tuned for the second part... I need to go to dinner. Sorry if I didn't proofread this well.

I'm good, so I calculate every post number here that is correct counting.  :)

Princess Twilight Sparkle always do legendary stuff with magic in Equestria. Time to blast from the past.

Religious fanatics. Can't they think that the "ungodly" stuff they find in stuff is just a mere coincidence, and that nobody would care or notice? :okiedokielokie:

Hey Allen!

I'm not quite sure what that means; many people do things that go against the teachings of fundamentalist Christianity. They would consider an "unbiblical" act wrong whether or not it was done out of intentional spite for the religion or not.

Anyway, for me to come out as an atheist (or simply saying I no longer believe in God to get less flak than wearing the stigmatized label of atheism,) would be much worse than coming out as a brony. I've unfortunately become more distant from my parents, while having to pretend to be a Christian. (I am under 18 and still live at home, otherwise I could be more open with them about my religion.)

This is becoming off-topic and somewhat personal, but I feel like I needed to get this out in text.

I have a computer question: is it possible that a lackluster processor could lead a hard drive to fry?

I've never heard of that happening.

I ask because I think my computer is not built to handle what I do with it.

A CPU wouldn't fry a hard drive no matter how badass or janky the processor is. I'd say the two main reasons a hard drive would fail is shock or it just got worn out. In laptops, hard drives tend to wear out especially fast because you carry it with you if that makes any sense. Like, I've seen hard drives in desktops last 10+ years. My first laptop's drive busted after only two.

I doubt Smash is really a computer buff. I don't think he's gonna know his specs off hand lol

MY HARD DRIVE FRIED AGAIN, OK? I think the processor gets too overworked, overheats, and fried the hard drive.

But the CPU wouldn't cause it.

I wonder if the motherboard is faulty. I don't know...maybe it could be sending crazy voltage spikes to the hard disk...

How long have you had it and how many drives have you been through (I'm assuming this is the Toshiba you bought only a couple months ago)? Do you have a Windows repair disc? And does your computer not realize it has a hard drive at all?

I don't have a repair disc, and it gives me am error code corresponding with being unable to communicate with the hard drive. This is the 3rd time I've had this, second with this computer.

This might be a dumb question, but it has happened to me before.

Have you checked to see the cables are plugged into the drive? It happened on my old HP a couple times that the cables just came loose.

I read that heat was a reason hard drives fry. I know I work my computer hard, but I'm thinking the past 2 couldn't handle it.
