Ah, don't be so hard on yourself. We all run into our rough patches.

I've been in this rough patch for years now. My whole life is built around bad luck.

Don't judge a book by its cover. You will truly understand it if you're just willing to read it.

Eh. I don't believe in luck. I believe that you can work yourself out of your situation. I believe that it's harder for some than it is for others, but I don't think you've got it as bad as you think. You're keeping your bills paid. You're doing well enough financially to entertain getting a new (new to you) car and computer. And hopefully, you'll finish school and get into a good job.

Welcome to the happiest thread on the forums, folks

I highly doubt that Base. You've still got most of your life ahead of you, it's too early to say shit like that.

Well if you want stuff to change it's up to you to change it for yourself. Like Chaos said, if you don't get out there and try and fix it you won't get anywhere.

There are lots of things I'd like to do, but for some reason, I tend to embody Murphy's Law. .-.

Anything that can go wrong with what I do will go wrong. :/

I was afraid of getting a new car because I kept saying someone's gonna hit it, it's gonna get swept up in a tornado, or I'm gonna fail to make my payments.

I was afraid of going to college because I was sure I'd flunk out.

I was afraid of getting a job because I was sure I'd be fired in the first few weeks.

I'm afraid to make new friends because I fully believe they won't like me.

I'm afraid of hanging out in public because I think someone will think I'm weird for being there alone.

I'm afraid of dating because I know that if something goes awry, I'll lose a friend.

I'm afraid of having a family one day because I'm sure I'll fail as a father as my father did.

I'm afraid to try anything new because anything that carries the risk of killing me will kill me.

The only way I ever do something is because someone else tells me to do it. If it were up to me, things would never change. Because if they were to change, I would fail to adapt.

I know I can work out of any situation, but I always assume the worst will happen.

I've been trying to work myself out of it. Every time I do, something ełse goes horribly wrong, and I'm so damn tired of it. I just want to catch a god damn break for once, even if it's something stupid like the banner contest. You don't understand how depressed I am right now.

Nah, not depression in this case.

I just mean that there's nothing I can think of I want to change to make better. I frankly just don't like how "The world" works in general, and can't see myself ever doing anything in a way I'll be happy with. I'll probably just get a job I hate, and do that forever, and try to make the rest of my life tolerable.

take my way of looking at things in Murphy's Law as you put it every thing that can go wrong will but what then onece its all gone wrong things can only go right in the end as there is nothing else to go wrong
