Well, how about asking them to let you stay little later than usual tonight? You don't really need to tell them what show you're watching. :D

I did that last month to play a game with my siblings. But my mother came down at 12:00 and saw me awake and told me to go to sleep... It's quite hard, except, if my father is away for the night like last night (MLP should air it last night... Bad Hasbro....)

Once upon a time, when Discovery Family was the Hub, MLP used to air at 10:30AM EST, 11:30PM here or 10:30PM if DST comes around.

Well...

 

One rule I should mention: During times of high activity, it is very likely you will be ninja'd and will have to go through the frustration of editing your post to the correct number. If you are on mobile, this becomes even more frustrating because you might "fat-finger" a lot and have to keep backspacing until you hit the right numbers, not to mention folks before you may have the incorrect number and you can't see the post # to tell you where you are. There fore, you are not required to edit your post if you are within 10 numbers, plus or minus of the correct number (don't be posting the incorrect number on purpose though : B). I guess it should be 10 numbers below the actual since most people probably won't anticipate a ninja. I say 10 and not 5 because some people have long posts sometimes. And to be honest, even if your number is more than 10 numbers off, I wouldn't care xD.

TL;DR: OP said that it is fine not to edit to the correct post number, as long as you are within 10 posts of the original intended post number. :catface:

You don't really need to tell her what show you're watching. I've asked my mother basically the same thing, stay up to 1AM to watch a show live. She approved it right away. She didn't ask what show am I watching. :derp:

 

If she does ask though, tell her you are watching something else, let's say, your favorite TV series other than MLP, and you'll be fine. :D

@ - Well, she's the type that will ask 'till she gets what she wants... I'll try to just stay up and will probably get the first few minutes... You know, same reason as before, clean the plates for my sisters, helping my grandfather, drinking some iced waters, until she calls for me :)
