Smashing Pumpkins were one of the best back in the 90s

 

I must admit, I'm not too enthusiastic about most modern rock bands. Bands like Avenged Sevenfold just don't compare to the rock legends of old.

I just hope there will be some good bands left in a couple decades if I ever have a son or daughter to take to concerts, like my dad did with me.

Wolfenstein, all of the Borderlands and BioShock games, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, Portal 1 & 2, The Stanley Parable (best short game ever), and I think that's it.

 

The rest of my games to download are actually pretty small.

My dad and I saw Deep Purple in London a couple of days ago.

 

They were, of course, amazing as ever, but we were also impressed by their warmup act, Rival Sons. I also remember an indie group, Slydigs, who opened for The Who. I liked them so much I bought their debut album.

 

I used to be a huge fan of Paramore (I had a poster of Hayley Williams ) but then the Farro brothers left and the band has never really been the same since.
