I'm sinking, bad. I'm failing half of my courses, and no matter what I try, I can't understand any of the material.

Hmm. Have you tried going to tutoring? (Oh right, you've said you've tried stuff already).

 

It's not too late since you're only a sophomore, so a major change wouldn't kill you. I'd change majors if my school offered piloting, and if it weren't so expensive :S . It's too late for me.

It's not too late since you're only a sophomore, so a major change wouldn't kill you. I'd change majors if my school offered piloting, and if it weren't so expensive :S . It's too late for me.

My problem is, I don't want to throw it all away, and spend more time in school than I have to. I even contemplated dropping out all together, and just going to work.

It's an investment you'd have to make if you stayed in college more as opposed to just working, unless you already have several jobs in mind that you could make a living out of.

Ehh.. How much? Is there opportunity for advancement? I don't think you'd want to only be a mechanic for the rest of your life, right?

 

Says the guy who wants to be a pilot (pay is horrible at starting airlines).

Well, yeah. There's a few other concentrations of Engineering, but it's all a relatively similar courseload.
