Uh, basically I want Euler Angles for the sun's position (actually Rotation, but yeah...), so that it can be of use to me in 3D rendering.

I think I found a way, but I have to test that now

Do you have to factor in latitude?

 

I would believe you can assume that the sun IS overhead at 1200

I have currently found a way to get the sun position for the current Date and Time. (basically at 0°lat 0°lon)

But yes, I need to find a way to also factor in the latitude of the location you are in.

idk what you mean with seasonal differences... date is of course a factor.

 

Basically, I need the location of the sun on the sky (in euler angles) dependent on latitude, date and time.

 

I mean, sure I could just get the trueSky plugin for Unreal Engine 4, but I don't really want to spend 100£ on something I could make myself... (ok, trueSky also has volumetric clouds and all that, but I really only care for sun position xD)

Sun's position depends on date, time, latitude and the inclination of the Earth (which varies). I suppose I meant day of the year aka season.
