I also promised myself that I wouldn't be spending New Year's Day by myself again but here I am. Well, I guess the lesson is that I shouldn't have dreams, because it all it does is hurt when they don't come true. Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for. I made new friends, went to some amazing concerts that I'll never forget and my confidence and social skills are higher than they've ever been.
