I would simply not use Mac because Apple. The customer support is pretty terrible from what I heard (no third party repairs, etc) and the general overpriced-ness of everything that has something to do with apple...

Oh yeah. I do hate Apple as a company. 

Not even MS cares about their customers tho. That said, there are support articles for basically anything that can ever help with Windows, and the same is true for Linux. MacOS just feels so unintuitive. The dock takes up SO MUCH screen real estate. Sure, the Ubuntu launcher is bigger than the Windows taskbar, but it's still pretty well out of the way. I can't understand how the maximize button is supposed to work in Mac. I've seen it blow a window up to the full screen and I've seen it keep the dock visible, which, again, takes up a lot of space the window could be using. The mouse is awful. Can't they just give it two buttons already? Why should I have to strike a key to get context menus when that can all be fixed with a second mouse button? And why does scrolling go in the OPPOSITE direction? If I move my fingers DOWN on the mouse, I want to read DOWN on the page, like laptop touch pads have been doing for YEARS. 

I will give Apple this: Their minimal, industrial design of their hardware never fails to wow me. They know how to make something that is beautifully understated (usually). But for the price, you get underpowered hardware. I mean, back in the PowerPC days, there was a difference, but now Mac uses all the same hardware PCs do. It's ridiculous. >.>
