@equerio: It might be cheap for you, but the majority aren't Europeans so it would be more expensive.

Well we would want the cost to be nearly the same for everyone though, even if the overall price is the lowest some other way (to an extent).

A meet-up would take a lot of money that I don't have and won't have for a long time. I would have to save a lot, and I wouldn't be able to spend on a lot of things I want.

 

 Plus, since I still live with my parents they would have to know where I'm going. I don't want to listen to hours of lectures about internet safety and how I shouldn't be talking to strangers. I don't want to piss them off, I still need their support unfortunately.

Well we would want the cost to be nearly the same for everyone though, even if the overall price is the lowest some other way (to an extent).

This is where the magic of friendship kicks in! Split the costs! ;)

If we get the cheapest possible solution, and it would be uneven for all the members, we would just split the total amount, and get the cheapest possible result :)
