 I shouldn't say all episodes because she was fine in Equestria games and a few others. It's just different writers having different styles and some of them don't get everypony quite right. Especially since there were...what, four new writers this season?

I feel like season 4 was actually the most ambitious season the show has produced so far. It tackled two ongoing story arcs with the equestria games and the keys. And then a lot of the episodes tried new and interesting things, like turning Fluttershy into a bat, or any of the other strange situations that this season had. This season took a lot of risks and I think it paid off really well.

 

 I can't pick a favorite episode from the show, but I could definitely say season 4 is my favorite season. At least until season 5 comes around, I'll see what happens then.
