I've never played AoE, but I have been playing Supreme Commander 2, which I have to say is my favorite RTS.  Though I do fail miserably at Total War: Shogun 2.

I'm surprised you went to a factory reset after one crash.  I just restart mine when it crashes, though I did just do a factory reset because it was so broken. 

 

And SC is a fun game, I recommend them. 

 

And yeah I can't ever finish the tutorial in Shogun 2.  That's how bad I am, though I think the tutorial is just badly made. 

 

That clip just made my day Filly, though one of my favorites is when he gets the answering machine to say that.
