I have a door to the toilet in my bedroom. Apartment is really small which is a blessing and a curse. Anyway if I had to go, I'd just get up and go. It's kinda funny if I get thirsty at night and I'm spending the night at my parents' house because my old man will wake up at the sound of a pin drop, but when I walk after sleeping my toes tend to pop. So I have to walk across the whole house, including by their bedroom and my toes are like ALLOW ME TO SING YOU THE SONG OF MY PEOPLE!

May I ask why you don't just go to the toilet? I'm just slightly perplexed. Is it not as simple as going to the toilet? Do you do things of this nature differently in the UK?

Oh so it's a "I don't know it until it's too late" thing? I kinda get that. I have a brother who has the same problem, but to a far lesser extent. He doesn't know at all when he's asleep and we've had trouble with bedwetting with him and he's 15. When I was younger I didn't get it. I'd get so frustrated at him because I can't ever remember wetting the bed (I was potty trained when I was 2 or 3...not long before I learned how to read...evidently I was reading books at 3 according to my biological mother). I thought he was just being lazy until he was taken into a doctor and determined to be a biological factor. He has no idea it's happened until it's happened. Having been a little more educated, we were all much less frustrated and started looking for better ways to tackle the problem (i.e. no water after 8 pm, wearing pull-ups to bed, etc.)
