I put a nice JVC unit in it with Pioneer speakers. If anything, I've improved the sound system. For music, though, this is always my most preferred medium God I love my turntable There is nothing easy about owning and listening to records. And that's what makes it enjoyable. Not to mention the sound quality is pretty awesome. You would think it would crack and pop but it sounds just as good as the CD. At least, when it's new. Because analog wears out over time.
