private Time Jumpers

[Skitter Run 44]

Skitter Run jumps as the Pegasus calls to him.

"Whoa hey there. I'm Skitter Run, is this the right place for that time jumping thingy thats happening."

"- Who is this and why she so bubbly-"

He thinks as she give the pegasus a look over

"- I must be in the wrong place. I can't think of why anypony would be happy for this.-"

"Hi Skitter Run! Yup, you're in the right place!" exclaimed Firecracker as they reached the group. She landed and looked around at the group.

Color Spark had been deep in thought and hadn't noticed the two newcomers. Now, upon hearing Firecracker's loud statement, she snapped out of it.

"Oh! Hi," she said, turning to face them and giving them an awkward, apologetic smile. "Sorry, I didn't notice either of you. I was lost in thought. I'm Color Spark, Firecracker's sister, but knowing Firecracker, she's already told you."

Then again, she probably told them my name was Sparky... she thought, rolling her eyes.

"Hiya Color Spark I'm Skitter Run" 

"- Huh I guess this is it-"

"So what are you all here for. Adventure, Fame , because its for the good of Equestria?

Skitter run look at all the other ponys and add saw three others. 

"-I wonder who's in charge, I'll go talk to them when I'm done talking to these ponys.-"

Fire was kind of offended by how the newcomer asked why they were here, herself and two other ponies were here for vengence and to stop that mare and the other stallion was here to save Equestria.

"Hello Newcomer, for your question we're here for Equestria. Not for the fame and if you're here for that then I suggest to get running."

Fire sharp stepped towards the stallion, she really was ready to run after the pony, she felt offended by the fame bit. Too many lives have been lost to be 'famous'.

"No ma'am just checking to see if I need to be watching my flank more then I had to. I would never trust it to a pony who was in it for adventure and fame. I'm here because Equestria is in danger and I'd do anything to help protect it. Honest to Celestia."

Skitter Run looks at the pony that step in his direction and stood his ground.

" By the way my name is Skitter Run not newcomer."

Skitter Run took a deep breath and then bowed his head abit.

" Look lets just calm down and start over. Hi I'm Skitter Run, I'm sorry about before i didn't mean to offend anypony. Are you the one in charge?

"I'm Fire Sharp, Commander of the Special ops team. So yes I'm in charge of this... Sorry that I'm slightly snappy, but I've lost many friends to the mare of time and I can't deal with ponies that aren't going to take this seriously."

Fire counted the ponies around her. 1,2,3,4,5,6. All the ponies that wanted to take down the mare.

"Well now that we have everyone here I would like to take you to the tower, we have to set you guys up before we send you out."

"Hello, Skitter Run. Well, our sister and my twin Supernova died a while ago because of this Time Mare. We want to avenge her, and make sure nopony else has to lose their loved ones." Spark replied. She turned to Fire Sharp.

"Set us up?" she asked, brow creasing with confusion. "What do you mean?"

"You know, get to equip all your equipment you're going to be needing and explain what's going to happen. We need to make sure that you can use the walkie talkies and that you have enough food, where you may end up there may not be food to eat or clean water. You could catch something deadly from something long ago and we would have no way to treat you."  

Fire turned around and headed for the entrance of the castle.

"Right, I guess I didn't really think of that," Spark admitted, abashed. She blushed a bit and followed Fire Sharp.

"C'mon everypony!' exclaimed Firecracker as she followed the two ponies to the castle, red wings with the yellow feathers beating excitedly as she hovered over her sister.

"great let's get this show on the road and hey skiitter run I'm storm twister but u can call me storm" storm said as he hovers just above skitter run " and dont worry I got you're six... I assume you know what that means right?"storm asked as he headed thru the gates and into the tower

Skitter Run looks at Storm Twister and replies.

"Yes i do and ok i'll call ya storm. You guys can call me Skitter and well we are giving shorter name can I call you Sparky"

He looks at Color Spark as he asks the last question. He then turns towards Fire Sharp and asks.

So Thats all the equipment we are getting no weapons or anything?

Color Spark cringed at Skitter Run's question. She didn't like being called Sparky. Unless it was Firecracker. Then shedidn't mind as much.

"Actually, i'd prefer it if you just called me Spark, without the '-y', thanks. Sparky's just a pet name Firecracker's had for me since we were little fillies. It'd feel weird to have somepony I just met call me Sparky." 

"You can call me Fire, though! Or Cracker!" offered Firecracker.

Skitter Run laughed at her expression 

"Ok then I'll call you Spark and Fire" 

"- I wonder if I can outrun a flying hyper pegasus-" 

"Hey Fire I bet I can beat you in a race to the meet up point"

Says Skitter Run as he gets ready to run.

he can already sense the disapproval they would get but it be nice to show of his ability and see hers at the same time. Everypony else he felt were strong or very smart but this pegasus he wasn't sure of.

"Before you go running off to prove that your fast, may I answer your question? If you do really need weapons then we're happy to provide them but their going to be really low class. We can't have you going to the past and have a magical sword that wouldn't have been even created at the point of time. You could do more damage than what the Mare has."

Color Spark looked a little worried at what Fire Sharp said, but turned her attention to Skitter Run and Firecracker.

'Oh, I think Firecracker'd be up for that."

@@Skitter Run, 

Firecracker nodded enthusiastically. She loved racing ponies for the fun of it. 

"Sure!" she agreed, and got into the position to start.

((You can win, I doubt Fire would beat somepony whose talent is running.))

" well I know that skitter will win the race hi talent is runnig..." storm said as he wondered what the real point of this race was. As they ran off storm started to fly with all his might and blew past them both to the finish line" you should really see your faces right now" he said as he sat down

Fire watched as the two ponies got ready to race then suddenly the other pegasus suddenly speed past. She wasn't expecting that and it was kind of rude, the race wasn't his to race yet he did anyway. Fire Sharp shook her head and called out to the others.

"C'mon, we don't really have a lot of time to mess around. I need to get you guys to ready before we set you up."

Fire then walked back towards the tower, walking inside and started to climb the stairs, sometimes it sucks being a unicorn instead of a pegasus.

@, Color Spark gave Storm Twister a bit of a glare; that was rude. If he had wanted to race, he could've said so. Even Firecracker wasn't all too happy about the little performance, but it didn't show much through her upbeat personality

The two sisters followed Fire Sharp to the tower. Spark trotted up the steps, while Fire flew above them.

Skitter felt disappointed as he walked up the stairs, He was hoping to see if Firecracker had any abilities .

"-I am sure everyone else is in the right place here but her, I'm just worried that she will get hurt.-"

He looked up towards Firecracker and smiled at her upbeat mood.

"- you know what, I think that maybe she can help us out alot.-"

"Hey Firecracker come down here"

He yelled.

Storm took flight going high so he could just see re rest of the ponies then slowed so he wa at the back and all alone his plan worked he could now be Alone yet still wot in the group "I hate being rude but if it's what it takes then it has to be done I'll say sorry after this is all over" he said aloud but to himself knowing that no pony could possibly hear him

Firecracker heard Skitter call her and flew down

"Hi!" she grinned. "Did you need something?" 

she asked this happily while following everypony up the stairs.

 

((You have a point. But then again Color Spark may be of even less help unless they need to hide, then she can help with that...))

"Promise me that you will stay cheerful ok? I have a feeling that we need the morale that you give off, especially your sister. She heading for a dark place and you need to be her light."

Said Skitter Run in a low voice hoping Color Spark didn't hear it.

He then smiled and started to follow Fire sharp.

After storm watched the group go in side he landed without a sound and follow Quitley and stuck to the shadows as much as he could he looke up to see the group about twenty steps above him which was good since he didn't want to draw anymore attantion then he needed to "I just can let myself get close to them in case they die I can't go thru the death of somepony Im close to again even if it means a sad life of loneliness" he muttered to himself hopping that no pony could hear him

Firecracker didn't entirely understand why he was asking this of her, but she gave him a smile and nodded anyway. "Of course!"

Firecracker noticed that Stormtwister was lagging behind, and flew back outside to look for him. She noticed him and flew over to him.

"C'mon, silly! Why're you being a slowpoke? I mean, you did beat us in that race! Good job on that by the way!" She beamed at him as she started landed beside him and waited for im to keep moving, remembering his earlier request to not drag him.

Chivalry was still at the gate, he was lost in thought until now. He looked inside and saw that everyone had already left. "Huh, guess I should have been paying a little more attention. I've been left behind, haha." Chivalry smiles to himself and walks into the tower with everypony else. He looks up and see's the crazy amount of stairs. "Hmm, alright then, I guess I gotta climb these stairs -sigh-." Chivalry starts climbing up the stairs. Not even a quarter way there he see's some other ponies talking, it seemed like Firecracker was talking to Storm. He climbed up a bit further until he was at talking distance.

"Hey there, what are you all talking about? shouldn't we be climbing these immense amount of stairs, haha" Chivalry smiles at the two ponies, trying to joke around a little. "I know there are alot of stairs but we still have to climb them... all of them -sigh-." Chivalry had a way of easily reaching the top of these stairs, however he didn't want to show off his abilities yet.
