After a few minutes of math Repsol was bored out of his mind. And well it didn't really help that he had almost no sleep the day before either. He tried to fight the sleep off with all his might.

don't fall alsleep now buddy. don't make a fool outta yourself

But it was a battle he couldn't win. Sleep had a sneaky ally, math.

Repsol slumbered down and let his head rest on his table, letting out small satisfied snores on each breath.

All through the class, Mr. Calc was able to go through a lot of simple algebra and hopefully help the students get off to a good start in math. He wanted the best for his students, and that started with a strong understanding of simple algebra. Eventually, the class bell rang and Mr. Calc had to stop teaching math for the class today. Before he dismissed the class however, he had some homework to give. It wasn't much. Just a page of simple algebra problems on their math textbook. Expected to be done the next day, he wanted the class to be able to go over the problems and ask questions about it when needed. Afterwards, he dismissed the class with a smile.

 

He then called over Flare... and the first thought on his mind was, 'Why did he throw the book in the first place?'

Sterling was glad class was over. The algebra was far too easy for a smart student like him. After class, he instantly walked over to Corona who was two seats behind and greeted her with a warm smile,

 

"Hello. Your name is Corona right? Well I'm Sterling Crimson, but you can just call me Sterling. Don't worry about the book toppling. I'm quite a clumsy person myself."
Sterling then chuckled lightly after mentioning his own clumsiness.

Sterling wasn't realizing this, but he was talking to a mare for the first time in a very long time. Sterling was a very nervous stallion around mares, and he didn't like talking with them because of how... snobbish they were. They would often taunt Sterling for the littlest of mistakes and that would discourage him so. With Corona though, he saw something different. Probably because she accidentally toppled his books onto the floor. But it was fine. He too was a clumsy stallion. He just wanted Corona to warm up to him and be good friends with him...

Flare walked up to the teacher after he put all of his stuff away in his saddle bags the went up to the teachers desk. "You wanted to see me sir" Flare asked knowing why he was called up here but kept quiet till he knew when to speak like his father taught him.

Corona smiled when Sterling came over and introduced himself, she even giggled at his comment. Corona picked up her things and headed back to her locker with Sterling and grabbed her textbooks for their next class...science. "What do you like to do in your free time Sterling? I'm a really good cook thanks to my mom, I even make dinner at our house some nights." Corona chuckled at that, the prospect of food made her mouth water. She felt comfortable and safe around Sterling for some reason and she couldn't quite understand why that was but that didn't mean she wasn't going to find out.

Shirley smiled as Corona walked away with Sterling. Atta girl. She looked around for someone to talk to and found and saw an orange stallion. She packded up her things and walked over to him. She realized he was sleeping and tapped on his head.  "Hey sleeping beauty  class is over."

(OOC: Sorry I haven't posted today! I just finished my practice MCAT test and I got a 36/45!)

 

Sterling smiled warmly to Corona as she began to speak. She looked like a really nice mare from first impressions. Sterling was particularly impressed when Corona said that she was a chef. It left Sterling oohing at her ability. Sterling then replied confidently and with a chuckle as they walked to science class,

 

"Well I'm a terrible chef by all means. But I more than make up for it with my musical and biological skills. I'm a seasoned veteran on the piano and violin, and I love to look through little things on a microscope. It's awesome that we're heading to my favourite class: science! I can't wait to get to biology! It'll be the most fun yet!"

Mr. Calc was given a polite question from Flare. He replied with a serious face though,

"Throwing books in class is not something you should be doing in class. I know how you feel. I was bugged by students all the time because they just liked to prank me. It really infuriated me that they got away with it all the time. But you know what? They'll have their own consequences in store when they don't pay attention in class. Maybe they should have learned something in this very class for a test, and they didn't pay attention about it. Don't respond to their taunts by throwing books. It'll just encourage them to bother you more because they want your attention. If they continue to bother you, just let me know and I'll find a way to rearrange the class to make life better for you and everypony else."

Regal Picked up his items and books. He looked over at Snowdream. She seemed to watch the clock a lot during math.

"Math not your strong point?" he said asked. -I suppose If she asked I could help her with it-

"Well at least now math is over now" He didn't like homework, and he knew he would do it before class tomorrow.

"Let's head over to the next class. Don't want to be late twice in a row"

Snowdream snapped back to attention when Regal talked. She had zoned out majorly and was still staring at the clock.

 

"Uh yeah, math and I don't really see eye to eye..." She chuckled.

 

She grabbed her things and stood up.

 

"Yeah I don't fancy being late again, Celestial knows what embarrassing thing I would do then." She said

"That Pony can't take a joke" he said to his group. He got his friends and began to walk over to Flare as he left the classroom.

"You should relax we're all friends here" He said as his group moved around Flare, bumping into him on purpose and laughing. After one final shove the group broke around Flare and followed after Forest as he departed.

Forest Wind looked at the stallion that threw the book and hit his friend.

"That Pony can't take a joke" he said to his group. He got his friends and began to walk over to Flare as he left the classroom.

"You should relax we're all friends here" He said as his group moved around Flare, bumping into him on purpose and laughing. After one final shove the group broke around Flare and followed after Forest as he departed.

"Yeah, there's not really much else to do." Snowdream said, looking around.

 

She saw a group of ponies laughing and harrassing a pony. They moved away and followed their leader.

 

"Jeeze, I would not like to bump into those guys, they look like trouble." She whispered to Regal. "Isn't that pony from our math class?" She asked

Corona followed Sterling and into the science room the tables were rather large and made for groups of two. Corona stopped in the center between all of the desks, shuffling her hooves a little and blushing when she looked at Sterling. "Um....would you like to.....um sit next to me Sterling? Perhaps we'll be able to be lab partners." Corona felt a tingling sensation inside her, for some reason she was getting all flustered around Sterling. Corona had to admit it, Sterling was pretty cute and she knew right then that she was really starting to like him.

"Anyway lets go see if he's okay!" Snowdream said, trotting towards the stallion.

Sterling happily walked with Corona to their next class together: science. He too noticed that the desks were large enough to fit groups of two. He could hear Corona shyly and cutely asking him to sit with her for science. For some odd reason, Sterling liked her cute voice. It was very soothing... and comforting. At that point, Sterling knew that he had found a new friend. Sterling replied to Corona with a smile,

 

"Of course I'll sit with you! You've become my first mare friend in my life, and you've become my first friend in Hoofstomp High!"

Sterling then took his seat beside Corona, waiting excitedly for his favourite class to start...

Corona's heart skipped a beat when she got the answer that she was hoping for. Corona couldn't believe that she had already made two friends and she was hoping to make more. "Well I'm happy that I could be your first mare friend Sterling. I haven't had many stallion or colt friends growing up. With you it feels different and I don't know why." Corona blushed lightly and turned her head to hide her embarrassment.

Sterling looked at Corona with a slight shock. No mare had ever said anything like that to him... in fact, every mare in middle school would stay away from him because of how unpopular he was. Now with Corona, she instantly... liked him. Sterling inwardly sighed happily at the thought. He then replied slightly mesmerized by Corona's words,

 

"W-W-Wow... really Corona? T-t-thanks. I'm... very glad... you're happy... to be my... wonderful friend..."

Flare shot a feather at the stallion making it fly past him. "You need to learn not to piss others off" Flare said as his feathers went thick as steel. "Never piss me either" Flare said as he picked up his stuff and continued to his music class."I'm not weak" Flare said

"Remind me never to get on the bad side of that guy." Snowdream said, her eyes wide with shock.

 

She pulled out her timetable and looked over it until she found the class she had next.

 

"I have music next" she sai putting her timetable back in her bag. Thanks for the offer, but I'd better not make you late to your next class, besides the music class is only just up the hall." Snowdream said with a smile.

 

She trotted up the corridor and found her classroom. She saw the pony from before sitting at a table, and decided to avoid them.

 

might get a book thrown at me if I sit to close to that one Snowdream thought.

 

It was then that she realized that she didn't know where she could find Regal again after class. She leant out the door and poked her head around the corner , but the corridor was now crowded with many ponies.

Regal watched as Snow went on her way up the hall. He was about ask her where he could meet up with her later, but the hallway  filled with ponies. He had no idea which class she went to.

"Well I better get to class" He could only hope to met her later today. -Still I hope she stay safe- He walked to his next class.

Bass Cannon had walked out the classroom into the busy halls of Hoofstomp High. She checked her Schedule and noticed that music was next. My favorite class already! She had thought. As she made her way down to the classroom, she noticed many ponies socializing, and making new friends. She decided not to get involved with any conversations for now, so she just went inside the classroom. As she went inside she noticed a lot of brass instruments and string instruments. She looked around for anything that could hold a synthesizer and noticed a locked chest under the teachers desk. She decided that after class she would ask the teacher what was in the chest. But for now she found a desk and sat at it.

Regal sat a random seat that was open. He already knew some french and able to speak to some of the students.

The Teacher walked in.

"I am Monsieur Flour. I am the French Teacher. I understand many of you can't speak it, but as we get further into the class I want to hear all of you speak french fluently"

Most of the students moaned about that. Regal only smiled.He was seated next to a stallion and another mare. He took notes but also talked to the two ponies next to him. The mare was fair and the stallion nice. 

"Today I will out line what I want for my class tomorrow and How I expect from you all. I can be a fun teacher, but if you break my rules or my trust I can be a very strict as well"

He then turned back to the board and wrote out a list of items and so went on the class.
