I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Cloudsdale University. You have displayed many excellent qualities that will be greatly appreciated at Cloudsdale University. You better start packing soon, because there isn't much time before the school year starts. I am positive you will get along great with your fellow students. Plus, for Earth Ponies and Unicorns, the clouds that make up the campus have been enchanted so that ponies who can't walk on clouds or fly may roam the campus without falling through the clouds to their doom. I am anticipating your arrival at the University.

Epic Rainbow flew up to her dorm with her saddlebags. She opened the door and put her bags on her bed. "I can't believe this is my second year at Cloudsdale University," she sighed. She started unpacking her bags and sat down on the bed.

Sky Soar glided over to the dormitories, scanning the large building. Students were coming in and out, carrying saddlebags of all kinds. 

'This is...amazing!' thought Sky as he trotted inside and took his room key from the front desk.

 

Sky Soar stopped and unlocked the door to his room, number 31, and dumped his saddlebags down onto a plain desk. That was the best way to describe his room, plain.

"My first year of uni begins today!" he shouted.

Epic trotted out of her dorm and down the hall towards the elevator so she could go down to the 'town' section of campus. She trotted past dorm room 31, which had its door wide open, and saw a pony unpacking his bags. Epic stopped to say hello to the pegasus. She had never seen him before, so she guessed this was his first year at Cloudsdale U. "Hi," she said. "I'm Epic Rainbow. But you can call me Epic. What's your name?" She smiled at the stallion.

Frost was carried up to the university by his friend Jaeger. When they landed Jaeger waved and then flew off. Frost looked up at the university admiring its size. He took his room key out of his saddle bag and walked to his room. "44...45...46!" he said joyfully when he reached his dorm.

 

He put the key in the lock and opened the door. The room was a bit bigger than he expected. "Well this outta be fun." he said sarcastically as he began to un pack his things.

"Hi," she said. "I'm Epic Rainbow. But you can call me Epic. What's your name?" She smiled at the stallion.

"The name's Sky Soar, but my friends call me Sky." he replied, "Is this your first year too? I'm a little nervous, to be honest." said Sky, poking his glasses up a little bit. In one quick movement, he kicked his now empty saddlebags under his desk. He smiled back at Epic.

Epic patiently listened to Sky. "Actually, this is my second year. Well, I was nervous on my first day too. After a few days it's not so bad. Hey, want me to show you around campus a little bit? Follow me!" Epic walked down the hall while Sky followed. She led him around campus, giving him a tour. "And that's Cloudsdale U. Any questions on where anything is?"

Sky Soar grinned at Epic and looked around. 

"This is a great place, thanks for the tour!" he said happily. He then walked a little further and craned his head around, a puzzled look on his face.

"Epic, do you know where the library is? I'd better get the books I'll need before everyone else does." he asked.

Frost finished putting all his stuff in their proper places being the OCD pony he is. "Perfect," he said smiling "next on my list is to get my schedule and books." he said as he walked out of his room and down the hall to look at the university map in order to find the library.

It was a bright and cheerful day in Cloudsdale, a fitting setting for Nova Flyer's first day. He soared over the university, enjoying the crisp, cool breeze flowing through his blue and black mane. He spotted the dorm building and landed just outside it. Nova kept a calm and collected exterior as he walked in. He grabbed the key to his room, #42, and trotted over to it. Once he arrived, he opened the door, and surveyed the room. There wasn't much to talk about; it looked like your average dorm room. Nova opened his saddlebag and placed its contents on the floor beside his bed. Guess I'd better go find my book and stuff, he thought to himself, and started his search for a map.

Epic smiled at Sky. She replied, "Didn't I show you the library? Oh, well. It's right over there." She pointed to the library with her hoof. "Oh, and, you're welcome for the tour. It was my pleasure. If you ever need any help I'm in dorm room 27." She took off in the direction of the dorms and flew back to her room. She walked into the room and saw a mare pegasus unpacking bags on the other bed in the dorm. "Hi," greeted Epic. "I'm Epic Rainbow. But you can call me Epic. What's your name?"

Sky waved off Epic and walked into the library. It was a long and wide hall with bookshelves covering every inch of the wall. Each shelf had a large sign on the top that told you what category of books was below.

 

Sky smiled and flew over to the 'Aeronautics' section. There were a few other Pegasi sitting down and reading or playing board games, but Sky was only here to pick up some books and a timetable.

 

He flew right to the top of the shelf and scanned each section carefully, finally selecting:

'The Art of Flight'

'Wingcare 101'

and 'The History of the Wonderbolts'

 

Sky then glided down, the books balancing on his back, and began to queue at the librarian's desk.

Frost was in the library for a good ten minutes before he found his book on "Technology of the Modern Age." it was a fairly large book so he decided carrying it with magic was his best option.

As Frost waited in line to check out his books he noticed a stallion in front of him with a book titled "Wingcare 101" which oddly interested him. He tapped the pony on the shoulder. "Excuse me, I noticed you had a Wingcare book. Are you planning on becoming some kind of Sports Doctor?" he said with a grin.

"Excuse me, I noticed you had a Wingcare book. Are you planning on becoming some kind of Sports Doctor?" he said with a grin.

Sky turned and looked at the Unicorn standing in front of him. With a grin, he said,

"Not really, I'm just learning about how a wing works and you never know when you might need to do a little first-aid!" He then glanced at the books balancing on his back, pushed his glasses up again, and said,

"Anyway, I'm Sky Soar, but call me Sky. What's your name?"

Frost returned the grin "I'm Frost, it's nice to meet you sky." he said as he looked at the books on the ponies back "Um....need any help with your books...they look kinda heavy." Frost said holding back a chuckle as he finished checking out his book from the front desk.

Sky took another glance at the books on his back and then once more turned to Frost.

"Nah, I think I'm alright for now, but thank's for the offer." he said.

Sky then began to walk towards the exit to the library, but then looked back at Frost and decided to wait.

Once Frost was done checking his book out he put it back in his saddle bag and noticed Sky waiting at the door "Waiting for me, that's nice." he thought as he trotted over to meet up with him. "So I'm guessing this is your first year, it's my first year and I have to say I never thought that I would be going to university in Cloudsdale." he said letting out a small chuckle.

Sky looked at Frost and said,

"Yep, first year. I came here to study Flight and Aeronautics. I want to discover something big someday." Sky glanced up for a while but then looked back at Frost.

"Oh, sorry about that. What are you here for?" he asked, steadying the books on his back.

Frost smiled and nodded "That's cool, I'm here because I heard the Technology an Engineering departments here were the best in Equestria. In general I just want to use the knowledge to hopefully change the way we use technology in everyday life." he said grinning widely. "Or it's the fact that my mom said she kill me if I didn't take the chance to go to this school." he thought.

Epic Rainbow looked at the mare who seemed to be her new roommate and waved her hoof in front of her face. "Hello," she said. "Anypony home? Hello?" She knocked on the pony's head. "Anypony in there," she called into the mare's ear. She didn't seem to notice anything. She just kept standing there and staring straight ahead. Epic was starting to get a little bit freaked out. She was beginning to think it wasn't a real pony. Like it was some kind of prank or something.

Sky glanced towards the door.

"Cool, the era of technology has only just started, so it would be great to be a part of that." he said with a grin. "Anyway, I'm off back to my room now, number 31. Where are you staying?" 

Sky made sure that his room key was still attached to his wing when he thought, "It would have been much easier if I'd just brought my saddlebags".

Frost returned the grin I'm staying in room 46, we should hang out sometime," he said hoping he hadn't rushed his idea. "anyway you have a good time with your classes." he said as he trotted back towards his dorm room, checking his saddlebag to make sure his key was still there.

"Sounds good, I'll see you later then!" called Sky, waving Frosty off. He wanted to take his time, class started tomorrow anyway. He spent some time walking back to his room, greeting most of the people he saw. 

 

When he reached his dorm room again, he awkwardly opened the door to his room and dumped the books on the bed. He stretched his wings and back. "What to do, what to do..." He thought, staring into space.

Stardream looked at the large doors of the university, finding herself a bit hesitant to move forward before moving her wavy midnight blue mane from before her green eyes. With a sigh she adjusted her saddlebags which hide her cutiemark though her dark blue coat could still be seen. Moving forward as she looked at the paper she held in her wing she says, "I need to find dorm room number ten... but were to go?"

Lightning Nova took off her headphones, and looked up at Epic Rainbow. "Hey! What gives? I was listening to a good song-oh! Are you my roommate? Sorry about that. sometimes I have my music cranked  up a little bit too loud to hear other ponies speak." *smiles* "I'm Lightning Nova. What's your name?"

Epic jumped back a bit when the pony took off her headphones and started 'scolding' her. "I'm Epic Rainbow," she said. "But you can call me Epic. And yes I am your roommate. Is this your first year? This is my second year. Oh, sorry. Nice to meet you, Lightning." Epic smiled warmly at the pegasus.
