Frost nodded and smiled widely. "That's cool, I'm here for the Technology of Aeronautics course. I'm trying to take a more scientific approach to letting no unicorn ponies fly." he said as he put his headphones back around his neck. "What s nice mare." he thought to himself.

"So, on the other hoof- do you like to read?" Lightning Nova turnwd her head away, looking the slightest bit nervous. She had never told anypony about her past before.

Frost patted Lighting on the back. "Hey don't be like that, come on chin up I'm sure our parents are watching over us right now." he said wiping away her tear "As a matter of fact I do love to read!" he said trying to perk up the conversation as best as he could do.

Emerald blushed. "I thought nopony would understand..." she mumbled under her breath. "Oh? What is your favorite book? Mine is the Harry Potter series." Lighting Nova smiled, and brushed a strand of hair ot of her face. 'I wonder what he thinks of me..no! Stop that Lighning! You just met him, don't weird him out.'

Frost smiled and let out a chuckle. "That's nice, my favorite books were the Warriors series....aahh good times." he said nodding as he looked back at Lighting and blushed. "Jeez Frost can't even look at her without blushing...smooooth." he thought to himself.

Lighting Nova looked down at the ground, she diddn't know what to say next. Which was very embereccing since they had been talking for a long time. Lighting Nova blushed, and turned her head. Her curly krange and yellow bangs fell over her eyes. She waited for his reaction.

He chuckled as they continued to walk. "She is cute when she blushes." he thought as he looked up and aw the rest of the group

Epic looked at Nova Flyer and thought, Wow. He's really cute. I wonder if he has a special somepony. Will he like me, though? Epic then tried starting a conversation with him. "So," she said. "What are you here studying? I'm here for 'Love & Its Science'. I just seem to have some sort of radiance about me that just spreads love. That's how I got my cutie mark." She looked at her flank and the rainbow-colored heart on it. She then wondered to herself, Maybe I'm the reason Lightning and Frost seem to be in love.

Stardream considered the ponies offer to join them and says softly with a nervous smile, "I would be okay with joining you all for lunch, though I need to find the dorm room number 10 so I can drop off my stuff. Perhaps I can even see who my roommate it." Stardream looked uncertain and mumbled quietly to herself as if talking to somepony, "yes, I know that is why I will go with them."

Epic Rainbow waited for Nova's response. She then saw the mess hall. "Well," she said. "We're here. Let's go get some grub! Of course by grub I mean food."

((Sorry, a number of posts had gone by... wait no I am not the roleplayer for Nova Flyer, my character is the dark blue pegasus mare with an eye mark on her flank. She was looking for her dorm and found herself come onto the others without running into them.))

Stardream looked at the large doors of the university, finding herself a bit hesitant to move forward before moving her wavy midnight blue mane from before her green eyes. With a sigh she adjusted her saddlebags which hide her cutiemark though her dark blue coat could still be seen. Moving forward as she looked at the paper she held in her wing she says, "I need to find dorm room number ten... but were to go?"

Frost was surprised that Lighting didn't have a coltfriend. With someone as stunning as her she should at least have twenty coltfriends. "No I dont have a marefriend back home," he said with large sigh "all the mares that want to be with me are only in it to meet Vinyl since she basically raised me." it was true no mate truly loved him, he was only being used

Epic Rainbow waited for Nova's response. She then saw the mess hall. "Well," she said. "We're here. Let's go get some grub! Of course by grub I mean food."

I'm trying to create a contained version of a steam-powered engine. Meaning it would feed and fire all by itself. An internal combustion engine is what I like to call it.  But I won't bore you with the details.

 

Why do you wanna study love? I commend you for it, although I don't see how something like love can be explained."

Lightning Nova pulled on her headphones, and listened to her favorite remix until the waitress/waitor came to ask them what they wanted. Lightning Nova sang softly to the tune of 'Raise this Barn-the remix'

Frost sat down next to Lighting and put his headphones on and listened to his Bass Cannoneer track. "I want you to be that special mare." he whispered to himself as he got his food

That was your work!" he said as he pulled out some blue prints and showed them to Nova "These are the blueprints I had for an electric motor. Mostly usedin small based engines to propel non-Pegasus ponies at high speeds." he said excitedly happy to see another engineer.

"Fair enough, Epic. Fair enough. You'll have to excuse my mechanical mindset, I'm the sort of pony that wants to have a logical explanation for everything. That doesn't work too well with emotions." He smiled. Nova let his mind wonder for a moment. I've never seen anypony with a rainbow mane...except Rainbow Dash. I wonder if they're related somehow. Maybe the awesomeness is genetic...

"Wha-?! Um I mean, yes, I'd love to be your marefriend." Lighting Nova sighed. 'It won't last, stupid. All he wants from you are tips on how to fly better.' Lighting Nova shook her head vigurasly. Tears were starting to form at the bottom of her eyelids. "SHUT UP!!" Lighting Nova yelled. She ment to yell it in her head, though..this could only end badly.
