"... and me really grateful" Jaqueline smiled. She took Nuclear's hoof and stood up... kind of. "Well, since I am out, I guess I will go. Of course I could also stay a bit longer to cheer for you in your next fights..."

 

Nuclear helped Jaqueline stand up. "I would like that. No one really has cheered for me so it would be a big confidence booster."

 

She let Jaqueline lean on her as support as they walked out of the arena. "I suggest you go to the infirmary...cause that was a bit of radiation you got doused with...not enough to really hurt you though..." She smiled nervously.

Stone sighed "I don't know how use telekinesis, I was never taught due to my parents being EARTH PONIES" she shouted. She couldn't do it. Even if she wanted it was the truth. All she knew how to do is control the earth elements. But other then that, spells where rocket science to her.

A long, stretchy hoof drooped over her body from behind and released the strap holding her right front hoof. "I'm sorry no ones paying attention to you." Mason said. "They're just so busy, you see. I've been trying to get Rail to let you out of here, you know. After all, the only reason we took was to ensure that we would have the proper prize for Sole if he won." A sadistic grin crept across his face. "But there's no way he would wish for you now. He's so much happier with Whiplash. At least she can actually fly. What use could you be to anyone at this point?"

 

The lead engineer spoke sharply, breaking Mason's gaze on her. "You're a disgusting pig, you know."

 

"What did you just say to me?"

 

"I don't care what you are, there's no excuse for creatures that behave like you. If Rail wasn't such a brilliant leader, I would never associate with someone like you. Now get the hell out of my lab!"

 

Mason stepped back and exited the door. "Whatever you say."

[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

Thunder Dash twirled his staff so fast, that some of the explosive energy was repelled. He absorbed the remaining energy. "Thanks for the extra." Thunder Dash said. He then unleashed some energy into his staff as he continued to twirl it. He leaped in to the air, as if he were going to strike downwards, but instead, gathered some more energy, flipped around, banked hard and went behind Swordpoint and remained there for the time being.

"This looks promising, We might actually see some action after this long fight of nothing!" Topaz said. "Nothing Swordpoint can do seems to be drawing any blood, but I don't see that staying the same for long! This looks like its about to finally get messy!"

Stone didn't like what he had to say. This made her feel like shit. But was he right. What could she do anyways to change anything. She was stuck here, she was useless. But she couldn't give up just yet. She reached out to him before he left the room "what will you do to me.....if he loses....or in general...." She asked

Stone groaned "before I die, he's going with me" she said bitting into a apple violently. She then grabbed a spell page. 'Full body healing' it stated. "Looks like a lot if time must be put into this........not much magic though. Can I do it?" She said. "Maybe telekinesis first though" she said before practicing it. She made aura go around a apple. But then she made it life only slightly before it fell. "Dammit..." She said before going again.

Swordpoint remained calm. "Very well. I can no longer trust him to prevent bloodshed." Swordpoint once again conjured his armor and lance. He used the extra boost in magic from his armor to surround himself with energy. He gathered it all in his lance and shot it toward Thunder. Before it reached him, however, it disappeared, and Swordpoint materialized behind Thunder, bringing the guard of the lance down on Thunder's back. He flapped his wings and floated a short distance away.

Whiplash intently watched the seemingly blood less fight in the arena. When this one ends, round 2 will begin, she thought grimly. Whip looked down at her damaged condition, and knew anypony competition could probably beat her. Was she done for? "No, don't think like that! Where's the old Whiplash?" she whispered, and left the fight to rest in the infirmary.

Stone eventually got to be able to get her telekinesis down. See it was all about being focused on one thing, but to much focus disrupts the magic current. She soon went on to the full body healing state. This one said it required her to be fully relaxed, and also no disturbances. "Then.....I have to relax.....ok stone.....deep breath in...." She sucked in. "And out" she exhaled. Then repeat. Till she was at peace, or just not tense. She then sighed. And her horn began to glow. Then soon, her whole body was surrounded by a green aura bubble. And she soon closed her eyes and remained asleep at her relaxed state while the magic did its job on her.

She let Jaqueline lean on her as support as they walked out of the arena. "I suggest you go to the infirmary...cause that was a bit of radiation you got doused with...not enough to really hurt you though..." She smiled nervously.

 

Jaqueline followed Nuclear to the infirmary and asked one of the doctors to look for any injuries. The doctor showed her a free room and told her to lie on the bed, he would look after her in a few minutes. In the meanwhile Jaqueline realised there was a screen on the wall in front of her showing the arena fights. "Hey, look!" Jaqueline said to Nuclear "If this takes longer, I can also watch your fights from here and cheer for you!"

Thunder Dash was hit. "Ack!" He said. But this was no time for giving up. Thoughts of self-doubt filled his mind. Yet he was able to control himself. "Gotta find a way to rid Swordpoint of that lance, yet not take it too far..." Thunder Dash thought to himself. "Let's go ahead and break that armor first." Thunder Dash thought as he charged some energy. He could feel some of the blood oozing from his back where Swordpoint hit him. Thunder Dash flew up in the air as if he were going to directly stab Swordpoint right in the chest. But, at the last second, he faked a bailout, backflipped in the air and up-sliced at Swordpoint.

 

(OOC: A bailout is a quick withdrawal from a current move performed in battle.)

Swordpoint backpedaled, but Thunder's slice still hit an unprotected area. He winced as the blade opened a wound on his chest. Blood dripped to the ground from it. He swung the back of the lance at Thunder's stomach with great force, meaning to wind his opponent. "Put away your weapon! I do not wish to kill you!"

Thunder Dash tried to avoid the attack, but was stil partially hit. It knocked the wind out of him. "Good, now that should slow him down for a while. But I got to keep a sharp eye on my own wounds. He's gonna try to kill me if I keep my blade out. But this fight's been going on way to long. I must finish this whichever way possible." Thunder Dash thought to himself. He then noticed an open gap and drilled it with a charge uppercut. His energy was slowly draining. Thunder Dash had to get this done ASAP.

Swordpoint held up his lance, trying his hardest to block the impact. He was pushed backward and some of the energy flowed into him, causing him to cry out. He forced Thunder back with a swift push of his lance and sliced at Thunder's front hooves. I must remove that weapon from his hooves. I fear that if we continue to fight with such dangerous means, one of us will not survive.

Thunder Dash felt the blood coming from his hoof. He wiped it off. It felt like a stalemate, an equal match. To come to think he could overestimate himself. The fight had to end then and there. There was absolutely no time to waste. He then charged at Swordpoint, but at the last second, he threw his weapon in the air and it vanished. He went in for flying charge kick to Swordpoint's stomach.

Swordpoint was able to avoid Thunder's kick with a quick flap of his wings. His eyes glowed a bright gold, and a barrier surrounded Thunder. He used his energy to force it downward rapidly, sending Thunder crashing to the ground. "In your haste to achieve victory, you leave yourself vulnerable. Your attacks are easy to see and easier to avoid." He tried his hardest not to acknowledge the pain from his wound. It still dripped blood. Maneuvering quickly had hurt, and he didn't have the energy he needed to heal himself. The stress on his body was increasing, and he knew that the same was true for Thunder. The battle would end soon. He made his lance and armor disappear, but kept his eye on Thunder. He would be ready if his opponent tried to wield the staff again.

Thunder Dash broke the barrier but was a bit shaken up from the crash. "He's foreshadowing. Time to mix things up a little. Thunder Dash readied an electric shot. He then fired it. He knew that Swordpoint was going to dodge it. So, he teleported next to Swordpoint as the blast came towards him.

Swordpoint teleported behind Thunder and grabbed him, holding him in place as the electric blast flew toward him. "You are incorrect. I do not possess the power to see the future. I have over forty years of combat experience, and I have seen many fighters like you."

Thunder Dash flipped over quickly just as the blast was about to hit him, which made Swordpoint face the blast instead. Thunder Dash then locked his hind legs on to Swordpoint's and held him in place. He then let a large amount of energy out. He couldn't let too much out.

Swordpoint hastily conjured a barrier in front of him, reflecting the bolt back. He then tossed Thunder toward it and tried to gather some energy while he had a moment. It wasn't much, but it was enough. He used the healing spell to stop the blood loss from his wound, but he wasn't able to close it completely or stop the pain. He faced Thunder and waited, ready for his opponent's next move.

"A healing spell I see. No more staff, so I guess I'll have to force them back open. And I've got to find a way to break that barrier." Thunder Dash thought to himself. Thunder Dash then pointed a hoof at Swordpoint. He was gathering energy. He fired another blast, but this one was different from the other. It opened up and engulfed Swordpoint inside a bubble. It began to slowly constrict. Thunder Dash flew up into the air and waited just in case.

Swordpoint was filled with immense pain. He fought it the best he could, but he couldn't teleport away. He could feel his energy draining, and he knew that he was cornered. Damn! I do not wish to do this now... I may need the armor later... But if I do not, I may well die here. In a last ditch effort, he used some of his body's energy to conjure his armor, which he then focused into pure energy. The armor glowed with a brilliant light, and then dissipated into Swordpoint. He was filled with power, which he used to shatter the barrier. Fresh blood fell from the wound on his chest, which was reopened by the barrier. "I was hoping not to have to absorb my armor so soon, but you left me with little alternative." His energy renewed, he charged Thunder, flames erupting around his body. The heat was incredibly painful, but Swordpoint forced himself to ignore it. As he crashed into Thunder, Swordpoint thrust the flaming energy onto his opponent, watching it engulf the pegasus. As he backpedaled, he examined his skin to find it charred. I truly wish Crimson had informed me of the dangers of the spells which he taught me...

"This is it." Thunder Dash thought to himself. As Swordpoint backpedaled he gathered as much energy as he could without taking in too much. He took in so much energy, that he was glowing pure yellow. He concentrated the energy to his wings. If one were to try to bend them, they would feel like super solid steel. He then readied an energy blast, but used it to launch himself toward Swordpoint like a cannonball. At the last second, he uncoiled and nailed Swordpoint with a wing slicer.

"Crimson, wait!" Rune called out. He was afraid that Crimson would ignore him. "I need to tell you something." He fell on his knees as if a large weight were suddenly dropped on his shoulders. He was gritting his teeth and looking down at the floor. "DAMN IT! WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST KILL ME? Why would you show me mercy? I was't going to show any to you! It would have made things a whole lot easier to understand!" A few tears dripped down his cheeks. He had been fighting them back so hard that the tears had blood mixed in with them. "All this time, I thought I was born a freak because I was meant to be stronger! What the hell does that say about me now that I lost? I've killed so many masters just to steal their techniques, and now it turns out I was wrong the whole time! I'm just like everyone else with power! I can't do anything right with it!"

Swordpoint surrounded himself with a powerful barrier quickly. Thunder's impact against the shield sent him flying backward at an alarming pace. Burnt and in pain, Swordpoint tried to teleport, but found that he could not. Instead, he began to desperately flap his wings to slow himself. He managed to avoid a ring out by inches. He floated down to the arena floor and tried to catch his breath for a moment. This battle... Thunder is more powerful than even Frostbite. I must persevere... Celestia only knows what they will do to Rainbow if I fail... Or to me. He spread his wings, gathering more energy. He recovered some of his strength and shot upward toward Thunder. He grappled with the yellow pegasus and started headbutting him repeatedly. He smashed his hooves into Thunder's face over and over, hoping desperately to do enough damage to him. They were both weakening, and he knew that it was just a matter of one competitor doing enough to the other.
