planning Revival of the ancients

A month ago, Tempest Sol and Ivy married and became one of the happiest couples in Equestria. Celestia has now givien Tempest the task of rebuilding the ancient civilization of the aura, the first city ever built by Tempest's ancestors. He has spread word all over Equestria of news of the aura walkers return and has three ships, which he'll use to explore new lands. They are called the S.S Longshot, the Sea strider, and the Revial. All three ships are meant for the sole purpose of transporting all the aura walkers, resources, and anypony else who wants some adventure. Many hardships will face these explorers in their quest to rebuild that which has long been forgotten. Are you pony enough for the job.

Tell me if its possible for normal ponies to be an Aura Walker?  I think it would be cool if being in the city  for certain amount of time would cause something like that

Sadly we are just now closing it up, so to add in another character now would kinda be pointless; to me at least. I don't know what the owner of this RP would say so don't be saddened by my response and just wait for his reply.
