Humanzied Kyoshi Lonehearted (2) - A Corrupted Soul

So my friend, Lappisrabbit, made me an image of humanized Kyoshi Lonehearted (My OC) as it was a request of mine. He drew it, I colored it and gave it a background. Later, he said that he made a lot of mistakes, so he decided to make a whole new image. He did just that. He drew it, really quickly too, and I colored it and gave it a background. This sounds familiar. I also added some other effects to it.

 

I think this one turned out quite good. As before, this is based off of a story that I would like to write (but probably never will) based around my OC going through the same portal that Twilight did in EqG.

 

Let me know what you think, if you wish. I really think this turned out great.

I may do further edits down the line. Whenever I come up with any new ideas.

I'm usually not one for humanized ponies, but... it does look pretty good. Very well done. Lines are clean, but I have one question. What's with the Alicorn Amulet?

That is apart of my story. Kyoshi never found his special talent, like me. His original personality is based off of mine. He was originally a Pegasus, then transformed when the Alicorn Amulet (which he found instead of Trixie) infused itself with him, going where his Cutie Mark would have been. His personality changed dramatically over time and became more like what I wish I was. It went from constant anxiety, social anxiety, depression, self hatred, and all of that, to apathetic, calm, and useful, though he has many moments of weakness.

 

When he went through the portal in this story, the Amulet was separated from him, being in the form of a necklace in that world. Once he finds it again, this is what takes place, essentially.

It looks pretty good. The background has a nice effect on it as well. I do love that clothing as well, especially all of that blue. I'm guessing your friend went with an EQG style humanization?

Exactly. Since the story involves the same portal that Twilight went through and it takes place in the same world and whatnot, that is the style I wanted.

Looks good, while i must say that the humanized pony thing doesn't always float for me, yours is really well designed i must say, it just, works well idk how to explain it.

 

Plus the artwork was done very well! 

 

I actually quite like it .

 

Definitely mimics the EqG style very well.
