Some piano covers (first try)

Hai.

 

Lastly I've tried to connect my piano keyboard to my computer and record myself playing live some MLP musics. There could be some rhythm floats in the first three songs because of too much latency on my sound card disturbing me during playthrough, but... as they say, the first pancake is always spoiled ;-J It has to suffice until I'll get some better recording equipment.

 

So without further ado, here are my piano covers:

Now I'm working at learning to play some more complex accompaniment with my left hand, since playing both hands together is still somewhat problematic for me.

These are really good.  I especially like you covers of Ballad of the Crystal Ponies and I've Got to Find a Way . I would love to hear you play This day Aria and I can't to hear the rest you are going to do.

Thanks, @@Adash :-) So it seems that they weren't as bad as I thought ;-J

But now I can do better, because I managed to connect my headphones directly to the keyboard (through a splitter), so now I don't hear any delays and I can play without any disturbances :-> I hope from now on the rhythm will be all OK. The sound quality is also a bit better now.

I'll try to re-record the three first songs (01 to 03) again with this new configuration soon.

But for now, I recorded two more songs:

Well, I'm not quite a fan of this song, since it's a little bit too Disney-ish to me. But to be honest, I practiced with it too, so maybe someday I'll play it too. But I need to practice more, because this song has quite complicated and unconventional chord progressions (deceptive cadences ;-) ) so it's a bit hard to play. I can play only a part of the beginning, I still need to figure out the remaining chords. (I'm learning them by ear.)

From "The Canterlot Wedding" episodes, I like "Love is in Bloom" song the most. It's simple but sounds very modern and pop hit-style. And it has a lovely piano intro. So this time you have two other songs from "The Canterlot Wedding" :-)
