Rayalicious 435 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 Ok, so it's been two days i got my wacomb bamboo small and I got used to it, but when i try to draw the curves come out too woobly or too striaght, so i'm wondering if any of you users used some kind of training or something like that "Adrenalin begins when gravity ends" ~Studio Liverpool Siggy by le awesome: NightOwl Smarticle of my class, problem with studies? Hansel 1,512 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 (edited) I used a Bamboo for three years when I started drawing digitally, but I quite recently swapped over to a Cintiq. Honestly, it's just practice. Boring answer, I know, but try and start off by drawing things on paper, scanning them in, and inking/ colouring them using the Bamboo. Unless you're like me, you'll eventually become more dexterous and be able draw things from scratch with it. Edited August 29, 2013 by Hansel Pancakes taste like well seasoned DVD cases. Azura 1,107 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 I've got one of Wacom's tablet, though I haven't been using it since I'm too busy with school. I don't draw much either, which makes me wonder sometimes.. Why did I get it in the first place? Anyway, about those lines. I think it's because of the program you're using and the settings you have for your tablet. I'd suggest Paint Tool SAI or Photoshop for drawing, though there are a few better choices if I'm not mistaken, but I wouldn't recommend them to anypony unless I've tried it, which I haven't. Leafeon 2,702 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 Well, I have one. But I simply find it too hard to use. And I'm too lazy to figure things out. But I'm pretty sure my art quality wouldn't change much, do to the style of art I do, and what programs I use. Jalaton 155 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 I have one as well. Drawing on a tablet takes some getting used to. One way you could make you lines less wobbly is to find the smooth stroke option on whatever program you're using. Legless
PonyEcho 1,610 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 It just takes practice, watch a few tutorials on it and try to find the right drawing program I find it allot easier to get smooth lines with Paint Tool Sai but it still takes some time to get the strokes I want right. You could also try to get the lines you want out in a quick stroke to make it smooth and if you get it wrong just ctrl+z and repeat till you get it right. my DA http://heavyecho.deviantart.com/ check my stuff out the Anime Club http://mlpforums.com/topic/48196-the-anime-club/ plz join us
