Little to anyones knowledge, Zycrin had slipped away in all the conversations and into the shadows. 'So two targets to kill and one to capture, I have an army of many and a Storma general. This is going to be fun.' Zycrin moved behind the group and talked to Manechilles via telepathy "when ever you are ready, you get the first attack, and then I will join in, Let's show them the true power of darkness".

Something snapped within Manechilles at the challenge made by Blast. "You dare challenge the mighty Manechilles?!" he shouted out above the roars of his army. Skillfully he twirled his weapon above his head then slammed its butt back into the ground. "You impudent, earth ridden worm! I will crush you beneath my hooves!" Suddenly, the stallion's mighty wings tensed greatly as he arched back like a lion ready to pounce, firmly gripping the shield and javelin of the Storma pegasi. Zycrin's telepathy words were blurted out by the consuming berserk rage known only to Manechilles kind. Now...to avenge his honor!

"He's not alone!" Light Streak shouted, lifting up the blade of time. "This will be your downfall! This blade has saved time before, and will do it again!" Light shrieked as he readied the blade for combat. "Face us, if you dare! We won't be destroyed by you or your allies!"

Blast just folded his arms and smirked. "His anger is cluttering his focus. He'll be easy to catch off guard." Blast thought. "Looks like you've decided to play, Manechilles. Good. Let's have some fun." Blast ran up to Manechillen and landed a powerful kicked him the chest, sending him back a good distance and damaging him in the torso.

With a sudden rupture of force, Manechilles rocketed towards Blast, "It doesn't matter how many of you there are! You are but lambs running to your own slaughter!" he beserkley roared as he closed in on the party. The army stuttered behind him, unsure of what to do, then they joined in a massive uproar as they sped towards the ponies.

"This is it. It's do or die time. Blast, Silver, it's been an honor to be with you. If we die tonight, just know that we died for a good cause. Now, lets save time." Light said as he charged, holding the blade of time in his hoofs.

Zycrin took that as the signal to get to work. He applied a small poison to his sword and suck up behind Light. Zycrin grabbed Light by the throat and threw him to the ground with a agressive force. He then raised his sword into a stabbing position and attempted to stab Light.

 

((The poison I have put on is small be lethal, if it gets in you, you have 12 hours to live and there is no cure))

Light kicked Zycrin and swung the blade of time at him. "Keep back! This blade holds time inside of it! Even the smallest cut can kill!" Shouted Light swinging the sword all the while.

 

Darkspine communicated to Zycrin through telepathy. "You fool! Don't kill him! Manechilles wants him alive!" Shouted Darkspine.

Immediately as Zycrin did so, Manechilles heaved his javelin at Blast at breakneck speeds, roaring as he unsheathed a gladius with his hoof. There would be no mercy for the earth ridden kind. At last, they would fall and Storma prevail. "GRRRAAAAAH!!" Manechilles insanely cried out.

"No! Not this time!" Light cried out as he ran toward Manechilles. "You won't kill him now, or ever! If you want me alive, come and get me!" Shouted Light Streak, swinging the blade of time all around him in a blaze of fury and all-out rage. As he approached Manechilles, he swung the blade, aiming directly at Manchilles' head.

"Maybe you should quit running that big mouth of yours and fight." Blast dodged out of the way and dashed out of the stallion's line of sight. He then appeared behind him and kicked him in the back, sending him to the ground. "You really need to calm down, Marechilles." He smirked.

Manechilles hit the ground and rolled before rising back to his hooves. His first reaction was angered shock but in return, he slowly raised his gladius close to his shield, circling Blast. His eyes focused on him alone. With a feinted lunge to Blast's side, the stallion unleashed a fury of powerful attacks that would knock back mighty a foe. "You are nimble earth ridden!"

"Alright, Zycrin, what do you hope to gain by serving Darkspine? Can't you see he's using you?" Light yelled. "Think! Don't let him control your mind! You can stop this! It's either take me away, or join us. Which do you choose?" Asked Light Streak. "And make it fast, time is falling apart!"

Blast was knocked down by Manechilles' strong blows. He did a small little flip and got back up to his hooves.

"Thanks. I know." He said, beginning to look irritated. "But, in case you hit your head on the way here, let me remind you of who you are." Blast ran up to him and did very quick but effective blows to his body. "You want Equestria for yourself, to rule it with an iron hoof." He said while dealing out blows to Manechilles. "But, if time stops, you'll have no Equestria to rule."

Manechilles took the hits like a stone wall. He may not have much, but his valor in battle from the gates of Storma was unyeilding. Swiftly, he used the flat side of his gladius to knock the footing from Blast followed by blasting far into the sky like a rocket. A feint roar was heard as he plummeted back down towards Blast like a falling boulder.

"Forget it, it's no use!" Light shouted, hitting Zycrin with the hilt of the blade of time, knocking him down. "He turned to the battle, where Blast and Manechilles were dueling. "I've got to end this." Light said to himself. "Don't worry, Blast, I know what he wants, and he's going to get it." Said Light Streak. With a heavy heart, he sped toward Manechilles and Blast.

"Hey! Manechilles, over here! Yeah, it's me, the one you want to take alive? If you want me so bad, leave Blast alone! I'll turn myself over if you leave him alone!" As light said this, the blade of time dissolved into him, disappearing. Light raised his hoofs in the air. "Just leave him alone..." Said Light weakly.

Redirecting his plummet, Manechilles slammed his massive shield atop Light's head added on with the force behind his dive: something that would normally fatally injure a pony, but he purposely did it only to put Light out of play. Rising from the impact, Manechilles waved his gladius and thrust it in Blast's direction...Immediately the Ten Thousand charged straight for him. "This day will be you death earth ridden. Your pegasi friend here was a coward. Thus, this proves the useless favor of companions." He grinned evilly and nodded toward Light. "You may thank him when you meet your heaven." He motioned to Zycrin. "Fuel your passion if you wish it."

As Light blacked out, he heard a voice. "Celestia?" He called in the white. "Yes, child. You have done well. Time may seem to be over, but you can't die now. Do the trick you learned." She said. "But I can only do it once-" Light was interrupted by Celestia. "Do it, and save time." And with that Lights body became stone, but suddenly, it cracked, and out busted a fully healed, angry Light Streak. "You're gonna get it now!" Said Light to himself. He ran toward Manechilles, formed the sword of time, and aimed for Manechilles' heart.

While Light and Blast dueled Manchilles and Zycrin, the massive army rushed forward. Silver drew his clockwork sword, and began to hack his way through the rapidly advancing force, buying his friends a little more time to stop Darkspine. He knew he did not have long until his strength began to fail, but he fought with all his might anyway.

The sudden burst of strength and revival sent Manechilles sprawling to block the strike with his shield. As a result, the shield shattered with Manechilles stumbling to catch himself, "H-how did you revive from that blow?...you...pegasus...grrrrrr!" The stallion immediately threw his gladius away and readied his hooves in a defensive grappling stance. "Darkspine!" he cried out. "What is this magic?" He glanced at Silver briefly, left in awe at the fighting capabilities of these earth ridden. How could this be?

"It's just an old trick from an old pal named Doctor Whooves." Light said with a smirk on his face. "He gave me one of his lives for saving his, and look at me now." Said Light Streak as he kept swinging the blade of time at Manechillen. "You can be free from Darkspine! Don't let his lies deceive you! You can be so much more!" Said Light Streak in utter urgency.

"Darkspine has promised me my revenge. Once that is fulfilled, his crimes will be too great. Then, he shall perish like your little band of earth ridden trash." As though insane, Manechilles grabbed the sword with his bare hoof, the blade cutting slightly from the angle at which it was skillfully grabbed while the stallion barely flinched. "No pain is greater than that of which I know," his grave eyes stared angrily at Light. "You should have joined me and avenged your fallen ancestors. The world you once knew is no more!" Manechilles gripped the bladed tighter as blood dripped to the burnt ground below.

"Don't you see that he's using you? He promised me power once, and all I got was the end of a friend. I know you may not think you have friends, but allow me to be your first." Said Light Streak as the blade of time absorbed into him. Light held out his hoof. "It's time to make a choice. Take me as your prisoner, as you wanted, or join me. I can't promise you revenge, but I can promise you a friend."

Manechilles was again puzzled. How did this stallion know so much of what was going on? How did he know Darkspine so well? "You understand if I take you, your earth ridden friends will die..." He managed a sinister smile. "Such is the will of Darkspine. My vengence is a greater blessing than...your hoof." The stallion looked over to Silver who continued to fight the massive evil force. "Tell me kinsman," he spoke to Light, "what do you intend to accomplish in a world that is already destroyed...even if by some miracle your valor proves too great for Darkspine?"

"No world is too far gone for a remedy. Darkspine destroyed my world once, but I rebuilt it. Nothing is too large a task for the powers of light. Darkspine is a deceiver, he tricked me into nearly killing my greatest friend, but I was able to resist. Even if you do take me, I will accept it as my fate. It is your choice. Help us rebuild this world, or live long enough to see everything you built destroyed by Darkspine." Said Light in a calm tone.
