Ten sighed contentedly, he was about as happy as he could get in his situation. There was one nagging thought now picking its way to the front of his mind. "Rain" he thought aloud.

Six looked down at Rain, sadness for her in his eyes, "Cmon Rain..."he muttered, "dont put yourself down like this. It ain't your fault"

"I know it's not MY fault," Rain said grumpily. "It's you guys for letting him get taken."

She looked at Six. "I'm not going to try to do anything to him," she said. "I just don't trust him fully yet."

"Its mainly my fault though" he said with a sigh.

Rain looked at Shadow, smiling a little bit.

"Glad you can finally admit you did something wrong."

Six took Rains blame toward him to heart, he looked away from her, "What could ah have done" he muttered to where only Rain could hear. <What could I have done against Discord? I'm just a lowly earth pony. I have no wings, no magic... What good am I to them?>

"Fighting him dosent work, mental batlles do, and thats one of my hobbies." he said with a smile "who would of thought...I get my revenge on the griffion twice."

Not checking to see if she listened, Ten continued, "I never got to tell you that I'm sorry. You're a nice mare, and you sholdn't need to be put through all this. I'm sorry that I've been such a jerk to you as well. That goes to all of you, I still don't see why you put up with me. Maybe it'd be for the best if you guys left me behind, I don't want to burden you more than I already have."

Shadow began to smile "put up with you? come on, ive almost gotten everyone killed! hah, im a total jerk too" he thought

Six approached Ten and playfully bonked him on the head, "Hell Ten, we ain't about to do that" he said with a small smile.

*Riza said, then she looked at shadow*

"Well, Shadow probably would, but thats beside the point."

"Its sad though, the griffion has a grudge on me, and he is taking out all on you guys." he announced.

They think they're the burdens, but I am. I'm the one always flying off the handle, saying those kinds of things.

"Don't leave yet, Ten," she said. "I don't know if it's really you, but if it is, well, I couldn't let you go off on your own, could I?"

She then turned to Six. "You're not a lowly earth pony. You're very brave and smart and kind and you've put so much effort into making all of us happy," she smiled.

She finally turned to Shadow. "And you? Sorry. I always blame you for everything." Even if it IS usually your fault, she thought teasingly.

"I'm sorry to everypony. I'M the burden here," she said softly.

Ten scowled at this self-hateful atmosphere. "this won't do at all... Six! Play us something happy!"

Shadow heard Riza "Oh come on, I take the time to not destroy him, and try to actually save him, and now you think im gonna leave him behind? thats just not right....." he said with a slight sadness.

the voice rang out again

 

"yes! something happy is what you need!"

 

a mariachi band consisting of shadow ponies appeared and started playing

Shadow looked at the shadow ponies with anger "I dont trust this..."

(OoC: How can you not trust them?!? They're playing Celery!!!)

 

Rain shook her head. "Me either," she said. "There's something really weird going on..."

Ten grinned at the upbeat music before a wave of tiredness hit him. He closed his eyes and his head fell back onto Riza's side, using her as a pillow once again.

"Now there just making fun of me....i HATE celery" he said

Rain shook her head and walked into her tent, lying down.

Been a long day-I should probably get some sleep.

And with that she lay her head down and rested.

Six didn't really like the music playing, call him selfish, but he only preferred music that came from his guitar. To help pass the time, he sat down and began to tune his guitar, humming himself a small tune that he planned on playing soon.

*It's le morning now*

Ten's eyes cracked open as the morning light flicked over his face. He tried to get up, but the medicine Riza had give him earlier had worn off and he was back to feeling his aches and pains. I don't want to bother Riza... I'll just wait until she gets up on her own. Ten thought to himself. He didn't mind waiting, he had the rythmic rising and falling of her side beneath his head comforting him.

Shadow got out of his tent and sat down near the middle of the campsite. "huh...even after all these years the griffion is still too scared to attack, he wants to mess with me" He thought
