the shadow pony threw the shadow griffin at shadow and it entered his mind, shadow clouds eyes rolled back and he started convulsing

in side shadows head he was at canterlot, the griffin was 400 feet tall, shadow cloud was 3 feet tall

the griffin snaped his fingers and they both were regular size, shadow cloud was not an immortal vampire, he was regular old storm cloud "There, now neither of us has any sort of magical or size advantage over the other, though we both know in a straight up fight, a griffin can beat a pony"

Rain sat there, watching Shadow. She couldn't see what was happening, but it looked like Shadow wasn't having a good time. "I hope he's okay..." she whispered to Six. "At this point we can't afford to lose him."

I can't afford to lose either of them, Six or Shadow. Oh, what am I thinking? Rain tried to shut her thoughts out and focus on what was happening. She and Six Strings appeared to be the only ones not in the world the shadowy pony had the others in.

Rain coughed a little, seeing Six's expression. I'm so insensitive! she panicked. "Yeah, his magic's too powerful. Which is why we can't afford to lose him," she added. Oh god what am I saying to him? Argh! This is so hard!

Rain sat waiting. This battle was taking a really long time, and she was restless to find out what happened to the others.
