Power Ten watched Shadow walk off, now feeling even worse. <I got mad at her, and she was going through this decision? I'm definitely at fault here.> he was out of tears to cry, so he just stared blankly at the little golden box in his hooves.

Shadow sat down next to his tent "So...we are being watched now.....Great...." he thought sarcastically.

"You're right, Six. I really need to get my act together and stop being so selfish," she sighed.

And this decision is getting harder by the minute.

Six smiled and nodded, "Thatta girl, yer stronger than others take ya fer, ah know you can pull through this"...

Rain sighed. "Well, I have no idea what to do now. Should we go find some food or are we okay for that?"

Inside her mind, however, this finding of food was really an excuse to go find the camp. I know I can do it THIS time as long as no one interrupts me again!

Six raised an eyebrow, "Are ya really thinkin about food? Or somethin else?" the memory of her leaving on her own was still fresh on his mind...

"Nonono, of course I wouldn't do that!" laughed Rain, trying to hide her nervousness.

Six looked at her now, a more serious look in his eyes, "Rain... Ahm askin ya to be honest with me..."

Rain swallowed. I hate to have to do this, but...

She stepped closer to him, batting her eyes. "Would I lie to you?" she whispered.

Six felt his heart flutter, he blushed slightly but still kept his composure, "Ah dont know... would you?" he replied

Shadow was almost standing next to them, cloaked "yeah, and she is" he thought.

Ah kinda figured... why does she want to do this on her own so badly?, Six thought back

"She thinks she can find the camp that the shadow pony is at" he thought back

"No," she said again quietly, and she smiled sweetly, tilting her head to one side.

This is the most horrible thing I've ever done...

Six kept his face the same as he spoke to Rain, "Are ya absolutely sure?" he asked her. Dammit, what should we do? Let her think she can get away with it but keep an eye on her?

"I'm not going to put myself in danger anymore, I promise." After this, she thought, trying to bury the thought.

"Maybe, but if she finds it they might attack us" he thought back

Six squinted his eyes, as if he was trying to decide wether or not to believe her, but he already didnt. He couldnt help but feel disappointed in her, she was lying through her teeth, he thought she would be better than that. Then we'd be there ta back her up, better in numbers anyway...

"I think I should probably go alone," she said quickly. "You look tired, and I don't want you to be overly stressed."

This is for the best, Six. Don't be mad at me. I don't want anypony else to get hurt.

Thats it, Ahm just gonna follow her, perhaps stop her if she gets too far from camp. Six grunted, "IF you can look me in the eye, and Promise that you wont go runnin off again, Ah'll let ya go" he then stared into her eyes, a serious gaze locked in his two colored irises as he waited...

Rain looked him in the eyes, hoping her own weren't wet.

I'm so, so sorry.

Six couldve sworn he saw her eyes watering up, but he still said, "Fine... apple trees are that way" he pointed to the direction of the apple trees, Ah dont expect her ta really head that way though, ah gotta stay close but not let her notice ahm followin...

Rain nodded and smiled. "See ya later!" she said in what she hoped was a cheery tone of voice, walking towards the trees.

I'll have to watch my back.

Six stayed a distance behind, just close enough to be able to follow without being spotted, he made sure to keep to the thicker areas of the forest to stay hidden. He wasnt surprised when she veered away from the apple trees, but felt an immense disappointment in her...
