It's far from my best work, and I'm not exactly proud of it.

I like it. One thing that slightly bothers me is, that celestia seems a bit too thin. But that may just be me

Thanks for the nice words! The legs do seem thin, I agree. I've noticed it while drawing but I didn't bother changing it. (I thought nobody would notice)

I think that you could use a little more detail on the wings, but that's just a minor nitpick.

 

I like the art style as well. It's similar to the show, but it has it's own personal touches as well.

 

You should try taking requests, if you want to have more practise in drawing ponies.
