She nods. "Usually others can tell where I'm from by my accent. And It was and so far the trip here was one of the most funist times I've had. Usually beings rather travel by train over long distances, but I like to travel by hoof or boat. You get to see twice as much then you ever would. Also it's good exercise, hehe." She giggles at her joke.

Muddle chuckled at the joke she had heard. "I don't think I can do that. I get enough exercise during my free-time as it is." She said, "I guess when ever I traveled it was always to see a friend of mine." She thought back to all the train rides she took to ponyville for a moment and said, "I don't really think I ever took the time to just enjoy the sites."

"Hi Nova! Uhm..." Cinder turned her head and counted the number of spaces along the runaway vial had been. She unfastened it, caught it as it slipped from her grasp and finally lifted it to eye level with her hoof, squinting.

 

"Aha!" She concluded triumphantly. "I have absolutely no idea! I didn't label this one so its probably not anything unusual, probably just smoke..."

 

Staring through the glass for a moment more, she shrugged and tucked it safely away again.

 

"And, uhm, sorry again other-pony who's-name-I-don't-know!" She added to the less-forward of the two.

 

 

"Oh that makes me feel special..." He said jokingly. He was only half joking though with the mood he was already in. "Anyway... My name's Blazing Hoof, or Blazing, or Blaze, or anything along those lines... Whatever you wanna go with." He said. He really didn't go by any of those names normally except Blazing, so he wanted to try some others out and see how much he liked them.

Nova smiles and laughs when he hears its smoke.  "Hmm..interesting. Hahah."  He trots to the side a little, but a tad closer to Cinder, and looks to Blazing.  "Say, we three could sit at the announcement area?  Or just skip out on it and do...well, something. " He asks, looking to the two, putting the map away in his pack...again.

Star nodded to the stallion. Did he tell me his name.... He looks like a... Douglas, yeah, Douglas. She trotted with him to the assembly. "I wish we could eat too." She smiled at him and continued to walk. She saw Lola with a mare whom she suspected was her roommate. The funny thing was, Lola spotted her too. "Hey Lola." "Hey Starry!" She looked over to see a stallion with her. "Wow, not even an hour and you have a coltfriend.... He's cute." Star blushed. "He's not my coltfriend."

Douglas flinched a little his face became flustered "uhm, yea we just met. heh" 'awkward' he mumbled under his breath  "i guess well be on our way then? dont want to be late for the assembly, the teachers always find out somepony somewhere is missing..so yea" he says with an awkward smile begging to walk forward

"Well skipping out on it would be fun, but a terrible idea." Blazing said. "I mean, think of all the bad things that could happen if we get caught." He added. He may have just been over thinking it, but it was something he always did, and he had no control over it. Well there was that one time, back in school... He remembered.

Nova starts to smile a lot now, the thought of doing something like this making him quite energetic, energy he hasn't felt in years.  "Ah, yes.. that would be quite a bad idea....but oh the fun it may be..." He looks to Blazing as he says it, then looks to Cinder.  "Though.. I don't think they'd call everypony for an assembly for nothing.  Heck, we may be screwed out of possible vital information.  So.  This leaves it up for a vote.  What do you two want to do then?" He asks, sitting down.

He looks around, and looks at his map.  "Yeah, we probably should go to the meeting.  Learning what rules we can break here and there could come in handy.. " He says, and offers to help up Cinder, extending his hoof.  "After wards, and after we unpack, we gotta meet up again, us three." This is gonna be one good time here, and meeting such a cute mare, and a pretty cool stallion right off the bat...woot! He thinks to him self, grinning.

Nova chuckles a little after he sees Cinder hit the door, and opens it with his magic.  "Haha...you alright?" trotting closer to the door and her, looking back to Blazing.  "After you two" he says, holding the door open now with his hoof, and pointing another one inside, smiling.

Finding a seat in an otherwise unoccupied area somewhere near the middle of the auditorium, away from the more well lit areas, she sat and waited to see what was going to happen, looking around and waving over the two ponies she had just 'met'.

 Arrow starts to walk around the campus, getting a feel for it. "I bet they have a map in the front." he says to himself, and makes his way over to the front of the college. "........ Nope... Ok, I'll make my own." He says to himself again. Then his stomach starts to growl. "Mmmmaybe I can eat first." With that he makes his was to the cafeteria.

Nova chuckles and follows Cinder and Blazing in, sitting on the opposite side of Cinder that Blazing was, and looks around.  "Hmm, a lot less ponies here than what I actually expected. " He says, inspecting the crowd before he turns back to Cinder and smiles.  "So, Miss Cinder, are you an alchemist or a chemist?" He asks, inspecting the various vials on her.

"Uh, I guess... I've never really called myself either of those things." Cinder responded thoughtfully. "I make things, all kinds of things. My mother was a doctor and dad was an engineer so I kind of picked up on both sides." She explained. "Potions and compounds are just easier to carry around than machines."

 

She plucked one of the bottles from the belt wrapped around her body and squinted at the unlabeled liquid inside. Uncorking it, she sniffed the mixture tentatively before shrugging and drinking it.

 

"Nope, still no idea. I should really start labeling these... I mean, what about you? What do you do?"

Blazing silently moved a few seats away, wanting to get some distance from the others. Oh so apparently she gets along just fine with him, but not with me! Then again, why did I expect any different? He thought. He was tempted to leave, but he knew he couldn't without getting in some sort of trouble.

I'm kind-of-a science nut.  I love the studies of science and magic, and have become...'okay' in an array of magics, and such."  He sniffs the air, seeing...or, more, smelling to see how the potion Cinder just chugged smelt.

He left the auditorium, heading back to his dorm. "Once I get back there, I can just be alone, cause clearly that's the only way I can be happy!" He said, shouting at the end.

Nova looks at Blazing as he storms off, and looks down, then looks back to the mare. "No...no, Cinder, you're fine... I think it may be my fault.  I think... Blazing wanted to be part of our conversations, but..I allocated most of my attention to you..  I mean.. you are quite the mare to talk to..but it was a wrong of me to not include him.." He says... slight sorrow in his voice, and a sigh.  "But... I can sort it out later.. Im sure I can talk to him about it, and find out what's wrong.."

He looks to where Blazing went one more time, and sighs, before returning back to Cinder.

It was disappointing, seeing Blaze leave. Still, at least she still had one friend to talk to while she waited for whatever was going to happen, to happen.
