Ever since I was a kid, I always watched Pingu, and I love it still now I'm older. The innocent, naive charm, creative (by creative, I mean talking gibberish) language and let's not forget it showed us a simple humour that doesn't have to be full of swears or adult content.

Yeah bro, I loved it when I was just a kid. I never loved any show more than Thomas the Tank in my early years (Hay, I even held onto it til' I was, like, seven or eight) but I still loved Pingu. Such a shame it stopped. I even started off a fanfic, but I learnt a lesson: Coming up with ideas may be tedious, but writing is even harder. Here's the link to all I did of it. I only have a dvd of a couple of episodes ,which are the only ones I've seen. But the claymation of it is super cute! 

 

I was like super excited when I got a Pingu and another penguin from it plushes from Japan, I also got an animated pingu plush .( yay thrift stores in Japan)

Ahh, Pingu. One of my early obsessions.

I remember when I begged my parents to get me the new Pingu DVD for my birthday, and I nearly cried of pure happiness when I unwrapped it during my 5th or 6th birthday party. I've never had a DVD bring me such joy.
