My first pony through digital media

So here is my first pony made through digital art, I know is a bit ....flat? But I wanted to make it "traditional" and I also wanted to get a hand with photoshop after a few months of nothingness in the Sea of Art. 

 

Any thoughts?

Looks great for your first digital art, amazing!

Lovely style, the tattoos are a nice idea, and the cutie mark looks great, too. There is no shading, but I guess you could add that without any problem later x3.

Only thing I might change would be the neck, it is just a bit long compared to the rest of the body, and the legs could be a bit longer, maybe...

Other than that, great OC/ Ponysona you created xD!

Crap! You are right xD ... it looks a bit like a tattooed hobbit pony... wierd. I shall fix it soon-ish. So many hours in front of Photoshop...I still got a headache.

Yes! I love the cutie mark as well! I have been thinking about it for months and FINALLY I got the right idea. It was like getting to lvl 100 in a rpg. Or like getting your cutie mark when you are a cutie mark crusader.

Thanks! Why, that's not true. As I say to all my good friends is a matter of practice, I'm also really far from the artist I wanna be but is all a matter of how hard you wanna get there.

I've been wanting to get into digital art for a while now, so seeing great works such as this, definitely motivates me.

I made the sketch on paper and than worked on it on photoshop, digital art is very fun altought it doesn't feel so...concrete (?) like traditional art. I started to LIKE photoshop when I found a tutorial on how to set up your graphic tablet. So if you want the link from the artist who made that (and other several) tutorials just give me a shout  

I'll be happy to share.

I also really like her tattoos, and especially her Cutie Mark. What does it mean? Does it symbolize creativity breaking its way out of its glass dungeon? Or does she brew rainbow "cider"? Or has she captured a rainbow in a bottle, and that somehow was her coming of age? So many possibilities...

 

Anyway, she's gorgeous. Thank you for not making another lame alicorn with laser eyes, or some other OP attribute

The cutie mark is a bottle of rainbow ink, I love to draw and to make tattoo designs and therefor the symbol. 

I didn't want to make the usual brush or palette and after a very long time I came out with that cutie mark. 

 

it was becoming an obsession really xD happy you like her!

My hair is always messy, but that's actually how I prefer it. Neat hair is kinda gross to me...

 

And now that I think about it, that origin makes a lot more sense that my theories. A Tattoo artist pony, ehh? That's pretty original. I love it!

I admit I'm a bit scared of photoshop and I would like to make something more intriguing but I'm sure practice will help me on that.
