Men walk with strange company on hollow days

Followed suit by stranger consequence and action

Billowed forth from the dreary depths of a dream

A kingdom of sorts beyond the mind of mortal men

Set lose upon the streets where men walk

All in turn with their strange company

 

A cloud of darker thoughts sets out in the world

Unleashed with the troubled thoughts of mere men

Leaving every mind set aflame in the pools of salt

Every brain lathered about upon the walls

Written in strange tongues that grab the soul

All in the place where men walk on hollow days

 

Bitter mechanics of the stage that move about

Attempting to perform in the madness of smoke

Desires ripped from the graves that birthed them

Upon mortal understanding, clouding all judgment

To which all is desecration and blasphemy

On the words of the man whose arms grip lies

In company of strange of circumstance

On hollowed days such as these
