Well, I've decided to post something that I've made some time ago. I haven't finished it (I am VERY SLOW at writing music) but hopefully one day I'll be able to post full song. I consider myself amateur both in guitar playing and in writing music, but any opinion, negative or positive will be appreciated!

This sounds sweet man! It's so heavy and dark. I especially love the dissonant sounding arpeggios. I couldn't help doing a heavy metal angry face when listening to it aha!

 

I'd love to hear the track when it's done \m/ 

 

P.S. nice guitars btw, is that an ibanez Jem I can see doing the cleans? I'd love a Jem they are awesome

Yes, it's Ibanez JEM 555. I also used LTD EC-1000 for distorted parts (I used drop A tuning, so I needed 2 guitars )

Actually it works for me, but I don't have any new ideas... yet I hope it will change soon, I don't want to write one song for eternity...

 

I have EMG 60 and 81 in my LTD. They are not bad, but tbh I prefer passive pickups (in this month I should get my 8 string guitar with Bare Knuckle Pickups <3 xD)

Bareknuckle pickups look great. What set you planning on getting? Have you seen the new juggernaut set? they sound beastly!

My god... I will totally get those for my 7 string that I want to get in next 2 years... Badass is not enough to describe how AWESOME it sounds. Probably as soon as someone will order Skervesen 8 string guitar with Juggernaut pickups Maybe we should move this conversation to PM? You know, we're doing quite an off topic here xD

Doom metal, huh? Tbh I did not may much attention to what genre it is (I mean in what genre my song if of course ) Thanks for opinion, I think I'll try to push it forward a bit today. I have some riffs that might sound good there, maybe finally I'll make some progress ^^
