Comments optional. I started this petition nearly a year ago and I want to send it in to Hasbro and the soundtrack labels again. I'd like to see it reach 6000 before I do so, but the more the merrier! "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" is a 2010 animated TV series developed by Lauren Faust, and it has amassed an unexpectedly large fan base. The show's music, written by Daniel Ingram and William Anderson, has captured the hearts of many people around the world. We feel that the achievements of Mr. Ingram and Mr. Anderson are of outstanding significance in the history of music composed for animation; a diverse variety of musical genres are incorporated into the songs and the instrumental score written for this series. We hereby request that Hasbro Studios, as well as any participating soundtrack record labels, publish and preserve this music on compact disc for our generation and future generations to enjoy. Ideally, we wish to see a final product that encompasses both Mr. Ingram and Mr. Anderson's work across the show's first and second seasons in either a single CD or a 2CD package. Senn555 242 April 23, 2012 Author Share April 23, 2012 Okay. Got a bit of a problem here: No new signatures are being accepted on this and I have no idea why. It's been stuck at 5,931 signatures for at least the past two weeks and I had someone tell me last night they weren't able to sign it, even though the sign petition button is still there. Probably something to do with the fact that PetitionOnline did a major website overhaul late last year. I'm thinking of starting over from scratch and rebooting this on Change.org. I would lose all of my current signatures, but hopefully as a community we could get back to 6,000 in no time. A couple advantages of rebooting would be: - Change.org requires more than just a name and e-mail address - increased chances of blocking out fake signatures (I got quite a few of them on my petition as it stands now) - Every signature made on a petition at Change.org generates an automatic e-mail sent to Hasbro/the recipient: http://www.change.org/guides/how-an-online-petition-works I was also told that Hasbro chose Lakeshore Records as the label to release soundtrack albums for their properties. They issued an album for Transformers Prime last month: http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Prime-Music-Animated-Series/dp/B0072LRGDE/ I've written to Lakeshore twice and I haven't received any response from them. They list two e-mail addresses on their website (http://lakeshoreentertainment.com/index.php#326) and the second one bounces back as undeliverable. I was told from another fan that the first e-mail address bounced back as well (it didn't for me). Right now I'm trying to get an e-mail address for Lakeshore that actually works, as well as additional contact info for Hasbro, whom I have only one e-mail address for (hasbro@custhelp.com). Once I can get that information I may put together the rebooted petition at Change.org. What do y'all think? Comments/suggestions/thoughts?
