I was wondering lately, is anyone being a pony for Halloween? what are your thoughts on pony cosplay? Yay or Neigh? I kinda think its wierd but cool

But tbh I want to find my Exacto Knife so I can cut out and finish the lower half of my spartan armor instead.

Still working out where to add Dash's marks though... either where it is, up on the upper part, or maybe just the hip pieces?

 

Not even sure I'll be finished with it in time now thanks to losing that knife and my MiA blue masking tape the dog hid on me.. Budgeting prevents me from getting new stuff.. but yeah..

Man, it's been years since I last dressed up for Halloween...  Not that I'm against it or anything, I just haven't bothered to.  Anyways, on topic, I'd say that there's nothing wrong with going pony for the night.  Sure, it's a little odd, but some people pull it off really well, and when they aren't quite pulled off, the failures are spectacularly hilarious.  It's really a win-win situation.

Some costumes can be amazing, other.. HILARIOUS.. and a few are just down right BAAAD... but not many.

It takes effort to make a bad one IMO.

 

as for me.. haven't dressed up myself for years due to military service, and usually working night shifts.. so always working on the fun of nightmare night!

 

Even so, I still enjoy a good costume, or even more so making and displaying one

I was thinking of wearing grey sweatpants and a grey hoodie with paper bags on my hands and head. Stupid yet amusing to people who don't know what that is, and funny for people who get the reference. I was thinking of getting a Derpy cutie mark patch to sew on, but none of the local stores seem to have them. I think it falls within the 'funny because it's bad' category.

My little sister who I watch My Little Pony with is going to be Rainbow Dash. She ordered some of her stuff from Hot Topic I beleive.

My little sister is probably going to be Pinkie Pie, so I'll be going with her this Halloween. This year is going to be so awesome.

I think it would be really cool especially for those young enough to go out trick or treating as a pony. If I was a little kid again I would love to dye my hair pink and go as Pinkie Pie while getting all those candy.

If I had a pony costume, I'd wear on on Halloween, and every other day. I'd wear it forever! It might start to stink a bit though, but, meh, who cares.
