It turns out fans don't hate sentry

First of all, I don't understand the Lauren Faust hate-as we wouldn't even have Friendship is Magic without her.

 

Secondly, she's not dead and I am unsure as to why you would believe as such with the whole 'turning in her grave' comment.

 

And finally, not everyone likes or hates Flash's Sentry character, there are those who are actually indifferent because they either found him boring or he had no impact of them, leading them to have no strong feelings about him whatsoever.

 

I feel compelled to dislike Ms faust because there are a sect of fans that feel the show has died with her passing from the show.

I E me saying "she's turning in her grave."  It's me being cheeky.

Well, I don't 100% support everything she intended-such as Twilight becoming immortal and surpassing Celestia in her original vision.

 

But, I see where your coming from-unfortunately there are overzealous fans about things in every corner in every fanbase-so I understand your frustration.

I dont hate Flash Sentry but the way they executed thier relationship with the romantic relationship was horrible. Horrible to the point that I don't want to see then get together.

 

Rio is a good example on how I like to see relationships be handled with so if something like that happens maybe I will reconsider.

Flash was a decent character, but they really shoud have invested more time into his character. His design is rather good, being one the few humans with a normal skin-tone. I doubt he'll become as popular as even Diamond Tiara, but if they invest more into his character he'll probably get a few fans at least

Rio is one of the few animated cartoons i've not seen lol.

I swear if i ever skip one it ends up becoming the go to example of choice (jk)

 

I did see Rango and I liked the relationship he had with ms Beans.

Well, besides the slice-of-life stories, Twilight has always been the main focus of the show, as even when she is just a side character to an episode she's seen studying, or practicing magic. What's wrong with Twilight eventually surpassing Celestia? It would HAVE to be something that came at the very end of the show, obviously, most likely in a time skip scenario where we see the CMC with cutie marks, Rarity with great esteem in Canterlot, etc. 

 

This makes me think of a video by digibrony(youtube MLP reviewer and analyzer) in which he can't understand the hate for Twilicorn, because some fans preferred the Twilight who was constantly panicking and losing it big time. So now people are finding her hard to relate too, because it would have to mean changing themselves to be on HER level to understand her now.

 

I don't know if it's that deep, but isn't the hero's journey almost always ended with them surpassing their master? And because of the sweet nature of this show, we at least know that Celestia won't fall prey to the master dying to force the student to step up to the plate.

Well, maybe it's because I HATE endings...because saying goodbye to beloved characters ALWAYS makes me sad.

 

I don't want to have to say goodbye to ANY of the Mane Six (or Spike) anytime soon.

Honestly, I don't think about Flash. I never have. He seemed like little more than a background character with more lines the normal. Accidentally.
