Much to the surprise of those there they would be interrupted, especially Lurele as Oscar trips into her as he tried to make his way through the crowd saying, "excuse me, parden me, may I come through, I'm sor...". With his fall would come the scattering of merchandise and most of what was in his backpack falling out and scattering. Paints, canvis, and other items getting mixed up with the mess though he keeps a protective hold on his pokemon.

"Woah!"  Lurele started to stumble, her Poliwag jumping out of her grasp as she flailed for balance.  The little pokemon landed on a nearby shelf, holding its tail against her forehead to help keep her upright.  With a laugh as she gets her feet back under her, she stands up straight and grins at the little pokemon.  "Heh, thanks Poliwag.  You're the best."  "Poliwag!"

 

She turns to crouch down next to Oscar, picking up a few of his things as she's down there.  "Are you alright?"  She smiles at the artist, handing him what she had picked up.  Poliwag jumps down from the shelf it was on, picking up a tube of paint with its tail and attempting to hand it to Oscar as well.  "This Pokemart is really crowded, people are bumping into each other all over it seems!"

Oscar nodded at the helpful fellow trainer's words and he looks to his pokemon and asks softly, "Chloris are you okay?" The pokemon nodded saying her name softly and looking over at the girl that was helping causing the painter to turn his attention to the mess he had created and the girl that was willing to help.

 

Smiling he looks up at his fellow trainer that was helping him pick up his supplies and says with a smile, "thank you for your help... um, what is your name?" He pauses, realizing he did not know the girls name and so asks for it. Considering her realizes something else... the image of the girl and her pokemon was quite striking, drawing his interest. They were not per say a beautiful pair but still she was attractive and felt when this was all finished maybe he could ask to paint her.

Eric was bumped into once again. He turned to see a whole mess of things. Lurele was knelt down down beside another trainer, who had his things scattered all over the floor. He felt bad, if he hadn't have been in the way, the guy wouldn't have fallen over. He bent down and picked up the things on the floor and handed them to the trainer that Lurele was sitting in front of.

 

"Sorry about that." Eric said with a calm voice.

 

"If i hadn't been in the way, you wouldn't have fallen. My names Eric by the way. It's nice to meet you!"

Lurele smiles at Oscar, nodding her head slightly as she picks up some more of the scattered items.  "I'm Lurele.  And the little one is Poliwag."  "Poliwag!"  

 

Snickering at her pokemon's addition, she starts trying to organize the items she had picked up.  "It's fine that you don't know me yet, but I'm going to be a gym leader one day!  Isn't that right Poliwag?"  The small tadpole pokemon jumps in response, causing her to laugh at him.

Eric stood in surprised and jumped in front of Lurele pointing at her with his other hand clinched. Larva 

 

"Wait, hold on a second!" He boasted.

 

"You never said that, when where you going to bring that up?" Larva looked to see her friend surprised and mimicked him, but pointed at Poilwag, and calling to it.

Blinking, Lurele looks at Eric and grins.  Handing Oscar the rest of his supplies that she had picked up for him, she stands and points at her chest with a thumb while looking at Eric.  "What, I didn't mention it before?  I'm going to be a master of fighting type pokemon!  Right Poliwag?"  

 

The tiny tadpole pokemon puffs up proudly, as though already believing that he were a poliwrath.  "Poli-po!"  Lurele laughs at her pokemon's enthusiasm, leaning over to pick him up in her arms.  "That's my goal - to be a fighting master and one day have my own gym."

Gabriel looked out at all the trainers in the poke'mart "Sorry Chichou looks like they aren't gonna battle anytime soon."  He walk up to the near the other trainers and asked "do any of you know if there is a gym in this town or is it the next one?  You see I'm from a close by town and this is my first time here." Gabriel asked with shyness in his voice he always got nervous when he meets new people.

Eric smiled with a competitve smile. He then gave out a little laugh.

 

"Looks like we're going to be rivals." Eric stated, taking a step towards Lurele, and pointed his thumb to his chest.

 

"Cause I plan to be the pokemon champion. Me and larva are going to beat the Elite Four and the champion that stands there now." Eric looked to his pokemon.

 

"Right, Larva?" The Pokemon blew a small fire from its mouth. Eric then looked to the trainer that had asked if there was a Gym in the town.

 

"I dont really know where the gym is." He gave a nervous laugh. He looked over to Lurele

 

"Do you know where the gym is?"

Turning to Eric, Oscar says with a wave of his hand, "Oh no, I was rushing through the mart too quickly it was no fault for not being careful." Oscar wasn't going to let another trainer take the blame for his fall, that and it seems everything was coming into order while he picked up the last bit of what was in his pack in addition to the mess made with the mart items.

 

Turning to the girl that had helped him he says, "Hello Lurele, my name is Oscar Claude and as you could see with the mess not only am I a trainer but an aspiring painter. This is Chloris, she was given to me by my sister.” He smiles, looking down at this pokemon who considers him quietly.

"Hey I got an idea why don't we all travel together.after all safety in numbers. And we can battle each other to see how much we improve over time." Gaberiel said to the group he was with. He just stood there waiting to respond to his offer. Hoping they didn't think it was stupid.

Locke, to no surprise, was being extremely quiet with all the people around him. The crowd of people who had come to watch the battle began to leave disappointingly, but there were still a good number of people still surrounding Locke. He sort of glanced at Gabriel and shrugged his agreement,

Returning Poliwag to his pokeball, Lurele gives a shrug and grins.  "Why not?  The more the merrier, right?  Oh, and yeah, I have no idea where the gym is.  I'm not sure there even is one here."  It didn't seem to concern her all that much as she walked towards the door, stopping to turn and wink at the others.  "C'mon boys, where are we going first?  Poliwag and me are eager to get going!"

Locke followed quietly first. He found himself next to Lurele and cocked his head slightly, holding Blue in his arms. "I um... assumed you lived in Acai City... There isn't a gym here, not big enough a place. More of a town than a city if you ask me." He laughed nervously. "I kinda wanted to go to Route 2... I heard there are Starly there... I kinda wanted one..."

Lurele turns to smile at Locke.  "I do live here, we just moved in a few months ago though.  I figured there was a chance that I just hadn't...  Found the gym, I guess?"  With a small laugh she shrugs, gesturing for him to lead the way.  "Route 2 it is then!  Not like we had any idea where we were going, hehe."

Eric smiled and nodded 

 

"Alright lets get to it then!" He announced heading out the door. He looked back to the others. "Maybe i'll find a Spearow out there." He then looked back at Larva. "What do you say Larva." 

 

"Larvestia!" She cried nodding. Eric smiled once more. 

 

"Then lets go!" Then ran off to route 2.

After making sure everything was in order and that his pokemon was fine Oscar turned to those gathered and says with a nod, "I would be willing to travel with each of you." Turning to Chloris we saw her giving not in agreement with a smile he would say, "I personally look forward to painting each and every single Pokemon" though after consideration, thinking of some Pokemon but seemed deplorable and unsavory, "on second thought maybe not all Pokemon"

Locke nodded towards the others and began walking to route 2, assuming that the others would follow. It was quote a sunny day out, so there would be plenty of Starly's and pidgey's on the route. Locke had also heard there were some abra on the route, although they were fairly rare and hard to catch.

"I dont see any Spearows!" Eric shouted, letting his arms fall limp to his side, with a sigh. Larvestia was a little consured and nudged her trainer. Eric turned, smile and pat her on her head.

 

"It's alright, maybe in the next route." Eric said, receiving a nod form his pokemon.

Lurele smiles as she looks around, lacing her fingers together behind her head.  "Official first step on our journey!  Alright!"  She smiles to see a pidgey fly off from the nearby grass, not making any move to battle it.  She just enjoyed watching how it flew.

 

"I wonder if any fighting types show up near here..."  With a small shrug she grins again.  "Oh well, if not it's no big deal.  Poliwag and me can at least get some training in.  Nothing is a waste on an adventure like this, right?"  She laughs as she turns towards the others, more than willing to let them go first.  Unless a fighting type were to leap out of the bushes, she was feeling pretty laid back at the moment.

Locke shook his head. "I wouldn't imagine there are any. I think I'm going to go find a Starly. I heard Staraptors are really strong, so I was hoping to get one." As Locke paced away, he realized he had gotten comfortable with these guys much quicker than he imagined he would. He smiled to himself and dropped Blue to the ground and began walking through the tall grass in the area.

"Well, you dont have to look heard their everywhere." Eric said walking towards Locke and Lurele. He looked down at Larvestia, she also looked pretty bummed. Eric knelled down and rubbed the pokemons head.

 

"Hey cheer up, they just arnt in this route is all. Beside only the best for our team right?" Larva looked up and nodded.

 

"Larva!" Eric let out a giggle then looked up at Lurele, then back to Larva. "Hows about a pokemon battle?" Larvestia nodded again, then Eric stood to face Lurele. "How's about it, wanna battle?"

Lurele glances around before looking back to Eric and blinking.  "What...  Me?"  With a small shrug she brings out Poliwag's pokeball, letting the small tadpole pokemon out.  "What do you think Poliwag?"

 

"Pollipo!"

 

With a grin Lurele shrugs and looks at Eric again.  "Looks like Poliwag is up for it...  This is going to be our first real battle though, hopefully this goes well!  Do you mean like, right here?  Out in the middle of the route?"

"What ever is better for you." He said taking a step to his side. He then looked down at Larva. "You ready?" The Fire bug jumped in front of him and let a little flame erode from her mouth. Eric let out a laugh. "Looks like Larva wants to battle right here." Eric looked back at Lurele with a smile. "Lets get started!"

"I have a couple pokemon in mind to capture, though not any on this route", he says noticing a pidgey and holding his pokemon closer before considering her and saying, "Chloris, return." and with such he places his pokemon safely on his belt before looking at the others and admitting, "I would rather not the first pokemon she fight be a bird, I don't want to chance her fainting on the first battle." Tnis could suggest to those there that he wouldn't be jumping to fight in just any battle, which could limit him if he wasn't careful.
