Troubled

 

 

Feeling so tired, every single day.

Burnt like a tree struck by lightning.

No resolve to find, no matter the effort.

The hope is eradicated, erased forever.

Lay down and give up on this existence.

Sink down into the depths of despair.

 

Feeling so alone, no guiding light.

Hollowed out like a dead and eaten corpus.

No escape from life, the magical release.

Joy is nowhere to find, not of this world.

Force a smile and fight on through the day.

Just to break down and submit to pain.

 

Feeling so confused, seeking hands outstretched.

Messed up from the horrified mind of mine.

No protection anymore, every barrier broken.

Pain is overtaking, rips open the screaming soul.

Sit down and cut straight through the pulsing vein.

The blood flow is endless as it streams freely.

 

I am so very sorry, that I feel like this.

Dreaming on and hoping to find my hearts desire.

No life to live, without someone to share with.

The feeling of love and infinite longing.

I have to walk out, seek and meet up.

 

Hug him, tightly.

Kiss him, deeply.

 

 

Dart

 

We must fly free.

Like a sparrow in the night.

We soar up high.

Under the glinting stars.

 

We must seek freedom.

Open up and sing like the nightengale.

We fill the forest.

Beautiful tones embracing life.

 

We watch over the world.

Like the eagle on the mountain top.

We protect our dear.

Making sure those eggs of ours are safe.

 

We must hunt for life.

Dive fast as the falcon for the mouse.

We are struggling.

Figthing everyday for life's offering.

 

We are humble.

Like the woodpecker in the tree.

We work to live.

Feeding on the reward of hard labour.

 

We are elegant.

Like the swan swimming across the lake.

We are strong.

With craned neck and spread wings.
