With the recent release of the new Twisted Metal game for the Playstation 3, it is said Hollywood taken up the game to be produced by super nerds Avi and Ari Arad, as a full featured movie.

 

The co-director of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Brian Taylor, will be both writing and directing a Twisted Metal movie. The story is undisclosed as of the moment but it is said that it will stick to the game's story and plot. But it is confirmed that characters like Sweet Tooth and Doll Face will make an appearance.

 

Although each individual game features its own storyline, they all revolve around the same basic theme: a vehicular combat tournament called Twisted Metal is presented with the promise of granting the contest's winner any wish they desire.

 

In almost all of the 10 Twisted Metal games, the host is a man called "Calypso"; however, in the series' fourth installment, perennial contestant Sweet Tooth briefly takes over.

 

 

Myself... I'm going to keep an open mind about it...and as it says, the storylines of all twisted metals are all different, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did their own story for the characters...

Mr Grimm pretty much is Ghost Rider. Brian Taylor cannot mess this up. All he has to do is take the flames of Ghost Riders head and put them on a clown instead, then make them shoot each other.

 

But seriously, if hollywood mess this up I will rage. Lets not have another rubbish film addaption of a game please...

I'm sure the movie will be terrible. The game, fortunately, is friggin awesome.
