What was your favorite thing or favorite thing to do as a little kid?

Mine was probably playing my GameCube, I never stopped playing that thing, and I enjoyed it much more than the PS2 that came out near the same time.

But we know we all had a favorite thing to do as a kid, or a favorite object or something like that :P

My favourite things to do as a kid were to play outside with my friends, play Pokemon, go to the shop and buy sweets, watch cartoons and go to the park with my dad I miss the old days :)

My favorite thing to do as a little kid... hoh'man, ya know that's a tough one. (Mostly because I'm getting senile and can't remember my childhood) Or maybe it's just that I loved doing so much as a little kid I can't even narrow it down! (Yeah that sounds better)

I'm just gonna go ahead and say watching Saturday morning cartoons, staying up late playing video games and collecting Pokemon cards. Awww yeah. yay.png

I was always looking forward to Saturday morning cartoons when I was younger. I have also become kind of a book worm at around the age of 8 (those Harry Potter books sure started something). I had many movies on VHS and later on DVD as well so when I didn't really have anything better to do I just started getting the ones I haven't seen yet off the shelves and watching them one by one. And of course how could I forget about my beloved PS2 and N64 and the many many hours of entertainment they have given me (and still continue to this day).

Wow, I just realized that this is pretty much what I like to do nowadays as well (except for the Saturday morning cartoons). Hmm, guess I have always been this nerdy ,haven't changed much over the years.

My favorite thing to do as a little kid was play video games. It helped me find peace with myself and have some semblance of fun in my unfun and miserable life. Years later, I am eighteen and still play video games. It helps me get through rough points of my life. Just sitting back and basking in the fun of the game, pretending that I am a part of that universe.

My family was really poor when I was a little kid so we never had many toys. In, like 2001, we had an NES because we honestly couldn't afford anything newer than that. We got it for like ten bucks at a garage sale. Therefore, as a young child, I learned the art of cartridge blowing.

Other than playing 1980s video games, my other favorite thing to do was play physical games. I loved Chinese freeze tag. Wall ball and kickball were other favorites. Behind one of the houses we rented when I was younger actually had some bamboo growing in the backyard so my brother an I used to break those off and sword fight with bamboo sticks until they broke, at which point we'd grab another bamboo stick and start swinging at each other again. And we'd pretty much fight to kill. We never hurt each other bad enough that the other one cried. Maybe we were tough kids? I don't know. People would get concerned when they would see some bruises.

Then there was our German shepherd. We never really gave her a name. I called her Lady because Lady and the Tramp was one of my favorite movies at the time. My mom hated dogs so she called her Bitch. She tried to reason it to me that a female dog is called a bitch, but I saw through her ruse. I loved playing with my German shepherd. We had to have her put down when I was 8 because she bit someone. I cried. To this day, I miss my dog. She was the best dog ever. She would love on us and play with us. She really was all about us. All you had to do was say "come here" and she was there as fast as she could be. I miss her. Just thinking about her makes me wanna cry.

As a little kid? Swing on a swingset with a friend and look at mountains on a sunny day.

There's a hilly spot in my elementary school playground where they had swings and you could see the mountains over a forest out back. Strange angle. Couldn't really get that view from anyplace else.

Tell me how a person judges his or her self-esteem, and I will tell you how that person operates at work, in love, in sex, in parenting, in every important aspect of existence - and how high he or she is likely to rise. The reputation you have with yourself - your self-esteem - is the single most important factor for a fulfilling life. ~Nathaniel Branden

Not sure, I did a lot of things when I was a kid. I think my favorite might have been being on my bike. Although it was mostly just me daydreaming about driving. Since I would act like it was a car, so that was one thing that was my favorite. Then also when I would go to the car dealerships it was on rare occasions and it made it special. I would walk around the cars, BMWs and etc. It was the most fun I had, sitting behind my dream cars. The feel of the steering wheel, the pedals, the shifter.. But I didn't do it that often, so I would say that my favorite thing to do was going on bike rides, pretending it's a car.

My two favorite things to do as a kid were playing my Gamecube and collecting Pokemon Cards. On the GC I played Super Mario Sunshine so much. I have to have beaten it at least three times over. And as for pokemon cards those basically were my childhood. Everyone at my elementary school collected them and we would always be trading cards. I had quite a collection but I sold most of them on ebay a while back for a handsome sum. :3
