A golden hue, chasing a light away.

Only to bring forth another.

Tainting the nocturnal heaven.

From whom I seek my reside.

My only gate in which I flee.

Jumping down the rabbit hole.

To my personal wonderland.

 

That brightly shining star.

Slowly driving away the darkness.

Chasing me out of hiding.

Revealing the fears of day.

An unaccounted responsibility.

Of which I wish only to avoid.

Seeking the shadows of evasion.

 

Crawling to the corners of night.

Light of day seeking only to embrace.

The spider seeking webs in between.

The fox retreating to his cave.

Scrambling down my imagination.

To the portal of truth and lies.

Into a mind filled of grim tellings.

 

Seeking the warmth of the bed.

Only to hide in it's covering shade.

Preserving the subtle mind.

Ever fleeing from the touch of sun.

Awaiting the sky to once again go black.

And sparkling stars soothing thy mind.

Luna rising to take her rightful place.
