Okay, I already have a topic about steam engines.  However, in my research I have not found much of anything (other than youtube vids from tourists) on European steam traction engines.  There isn't that much out there for websites either (that give more than just a pic and a company name).  What I am looking for is either encyclopedias focusing on european steam engines (amazon failed me), ANY book that are european steam engine specific (even if its just company specific histories), or heck, anyone from europe who may be able to help me learn about the marvelous machines overseas.  I am pathetically stuck in Iowa, and don't have the budget to travel to europe (but believe, if i could I would in a heartbeat), and steam engine history is just so much more abundant from american companies....Can anypony help and/or point me somewhere to delve to deeper?

They have fairs for Traction and Steam engines here in Yorkshire.

 

pretty sure some books on them exist in one of the libraries here.
