Sparx took care of pretty much anything I could add, I just feel obligated to chime in since I'm supposed to be in charge of the thread XD  Thanks!

 

Hopefully the RP should be picking up soon, it's just in a bit of a slow spot.  I imagine it's getting around the afternoon in RP-time, and the plot should start to really pick up by the next day.

 

As far as my posting goes it should be more common now - my last final was last week, and while weekends can sometimes be a little hectic I should be around now.  (Not counting holidays :P)

Status time:  Anyways, Merry Christmas my little ponies.  Dropping in to say that now that the holidays are winding down (for me at least) I plan to really get this RP revived again.

 

With that being said, I'm working on a fairly big post right now.  I'm not going to be actually tagging anyone in it as I'm focusing on getting it written now, but please make sure you read it as it'll be kicking off the actual plot of the roleplay!  (It's kept its slow pace for far too long  >_> )

Sparx joined us out in the swamp, don't worry though, both of the groups will be joining up fairly soon.  (Still working on a post as I'm typing this)

 

Basically not much has happened back at the hotel:  The strange aroma, the missing employees, and the cellar door jammed shut.

 

For the swamp group, they fell in a hole courtesy of Sabellah and decided to see where the strange tunnel led.

 

If you'd like to wait until I finish the post I'm working on now, it will probably give you a lot more to work off of for a response  ^_^

Just dumped into the cellar, it was just to make sure everyone was back at the hotel.  Since there's no set layout for the hotel grounds though, the cellar entrance could be in / near the gardens.

So did Mirror hear anything that happened to the group in the basement? I can't think of anything to post. Like at all. Unless she just heads back to her room. Or searches for Wish....which actually sounds like a half decent thing for her to do. I might just do that. I'll post anyway just in case she could have heard something.

I feel a little bad about my post so I'll say I'm sorry for what I did to Wish,but I still think it was necessary under the circumstances.  :unsure:

By the way, is it too late to add more characters to this, I've been thinking about adding my other OC Cherry Bomb to this.

With any luck her and Wish could get on like a house on fire. ^_^

Heh, Wish needs yelling at from time to time :P

 

She constantly feels a real need to prove herself which can lead to... suicidal overconfidence.

 

Even though its probably going to save her life, don't expect her to be at all happy about it... at least not openly. :)

Sure, you can add Cherry if you'd like ^_^  That's part of the reason why I had Savoba make his initial appearance on the ferry, that way more characters can join without leaving a window for everyone to just run away from the swamp.

I'd be tempted to apply with another character, but having Wish there pretty much blocks me from using most of the ones I would want to apply with since they all know Scribe in some way and would ruin her 'hopeless quest' thing :P

As the others were making their way safely up the stairs, the shallow water around Silver's hooves suddenly starts to bubble as though something were coming up for air. A cold, scaly hand shot from the shallow water to grab the old stallion, and in the blink of an eye, he was gone - seemingly drug down impossibly into the shallow water.

 

I know I'm very late to comment on this but all I could think when reading this was:

 

"“The end is near. I hear a noise at the door, as of some immense slippery body lumbering against it. It shall find me. God, that hand! The window! The window!”
