Okay guys, so I totally changed the design of my art project. We're only supposed to do the outlines, so that's why the details inside discord and twilight are super faint,( gotta erase that later.) anyways, what do you all think of my next project design?

It does look really good actually! Did you draw this all freely or did you look at some sort of reference? It looks very accurate to the show's style! But yeah great work

this was all done freely. I've memorized most of the characters. xD thanks! I can only hope the final drawing comes out epic.

one word. Practice, practice, practice. Well and tons of circles and basic shapes too. I honestly have no idea how I drew Discord without a reference, this was my first time free handing him(and second time drawing him o.O) I'm boggled myself. xD

It's a nice rough sketch. You should continue working on it. Like maybe color it and give it a bit more detail. Overall, it looks epic.

Tis a sad day for colored pencils everywhere. The actual final project has to be black and white /: and with no detail since were working on positive and negative space. But I think I'll keep this sketch after the project and fill it in with color and detail.

So do two more (you can use transfer paper). Then you can just go crazy and do what you want.

This looks really, really good! If I had to criticize anything, I'd say Discord's body is a little too thick and his head is bigger compared to the rest of his body.

thanks for letting me know, didn't quite realize the minor proportion problem. I'll be sure to fix that on the final paper.

This is good. I think his lone teeth in missing or I'm missing it. other than that, Twilight's cutie mark isn't present. Great job on it.

his tooth is there, it's just a little hard to tell. Twilight's cutie mark would've bend kinda hard to put on since I would've had to use a gift wrapper cutter thing to cut it out so I opted to leave it out

I love the idea of discord manipulating twilight like a puppet.

 

Its probably because of the lighting in the pic but, the only thing I would do is darken in the detailing.

 

Other than that, I think the line work is clean and I think it looks great!

yeah my teacher originally told us we had to use silhouettes, but I got him to let me put some detail in it, which I'll have to cut out on the final paper. Black and white, positive and negative space stuff. It'll be done on Tuesday quite possibly. :3 this is pretty much all I have done at the moment. -damn phone made the pic sideways, oh well-

All I have to say is that it looks quite stunning and very vision for a project for such sort. Well done in many aspects and I really really wanna see the finished product :3
