@, Selune was getting a bit tickled by the stallion but not enough to go violent. However she did think that he needed a lesson... and his mouth shut. Perhaps a little prank... she felt a bit devious and sneaked a small pouch of arcanic pollen that would make him scratch himself enough to stop talking. Carefully and sneakily she placed it on his back while he wasn't looking and unleashed it. Serves you right you a-hole... now scratch yourself to silence. ((OOC:Sorry if this sounds godmoddy but action-consequence logic follows.))

The speakers turned on and spoke. Strangely, Grants voice was on the other end of the speakers instead of the normal voice from before. "Electra Blitz and Snowstorm. Could you make your ways to the first arena for me? It's time to get started."

 

As Snowstorm made his way to the arena, his mind was distracted with the thoughts of what Solstice had said. What does she mean 'I'm too selfish? That doesn't have anything to do with how desirable I am! There's only one way to fix this. I have to win this fight and face her in the next round! That made her pay attention to Selune, so it should work for me. She will see my greatness and love me like all the others; and that will... Fix it... Somehow.

"Alright, this is it. I must win this for Thunder." Blitz stated to himself as he trotted over to the ring. He was not gonna hold back against Snowstorm after the trash that he talked. It was time to end the big mouth of Snowstorm and teach him a lesson that words do not hurt and most of all, that actions speak louder than words.

@, Selune was rooting for Blitz... it was all she could do right now. "HEY BLITZ!" She yelled wanting to get his attention. Once he was looking at her she said calmly "No holding back... you have a purpose... kick his ass!" she said subtly reminding her of the promise they had made.

"Got it Selune! I won't let you down!" Blitz shouted back as he continued forth to the ring. A promise was a promise. Even if he didn't kill Snowstorm, but knocked him out, he would still be in this. He had already used his full power on the first match. If he tried to use it again, he would faint due to the mass amount of power used.

That pathetic creature doesn't know what purpose is. I have purpose; and I will do whatever it takes to reach it. Snowstorm thought as he unsheathed his blade. The Banshee Shriek was in its dormant state, and it appeared to be a regular sword.

 

Juri gave a quick smile to the crowd, then said to the two contestants, "Okay, fighters, you may begin!"

 

Snowstorm swayed his blade to his right side and said with a smirk, "You must be tired of being a simple sideshow freak. Why don't you make the first move?"

Blitz wasn't gonna charge as usual, as that would make him predictable. "It's time to shut this guy's mouth once and for all!" He thought to himself as he sprang into the air for a diving kick. (The problem isn't being OP. the problem is that if you hit another players character with an attack in any situation without giving them a chance to retaliate, it's godmodding. What you should have done was something along the lines of 'Electra Blitz dashed at Snowstorm and threw a roundhouse kick, hoping it would hit.' That way you aren't assuming that my character does nothing to defend himself.)

 

Snowstorm gripped the hilt of his blade and dashed to Blitz's side, moving with speed that he hadn't shown in his previous fight. He was fast when he wanted to be. As he sprinted to Electra's side, he attempted to hit him up the side of his head using the blunt hilt of his blade.

Blitz looked at the last second but was still hit with the blade. A sharp pain went through his body. He still kept his promise and wouldn't give up despite the pain he went through. With a small chance, he attempted to grab the blade away from Snowstorm.

Snowstorm kept a firm grip on the hilt, but when Electra touched it, the blade emitted a sharp scream that seemed to affect everyone accept Snowstorm. Juri, who was the closest to the sword without touching it, hunched over in pain while the audience tried to cover their ears. The sound couldn't be avoided. Even the deaf could hear it as it scratched on the inside of their skulls.

 

"The Banshee Shriek has a mind of its own and loathes disrespect!" Said Snowstorm.

 

(I'm not making this up as I go along. This is what happens when a non-imp touches the sword.)

Blitz held his head as he let go of the sword. He then tried to upslash on Snowstorm's hoof (with his double-edged staff) that gripped the sword so he coud let the sword go. He knew that if he wasn't able to get rid of Snowstorm's sword, his own blood would be shed, and he certainly did not want to break his promise with Selune.

When Snowstorm saw Electra about to counter with his staff, he did the only thing he had time to do. He extended his leg out further so that the staff's blade would strike his leg rather than the hoof holding the Katana.

 

The blade sliced into his leg and nearly struck his bone. Blood gushed out from the wound, purple blood. Without letting Electra strike again, he leapt backwards to the far side of the ring while switching the sword to his other hoof.

 

As he stared down his opponent while dealing with the pain in his right leg, the mood was quickly ruined by the outcries of his fanmares.

 

"Don't you dare hit him again, you ugly brute!" One screamed.

 

"Nopony wants to kiss you!"

 

Snowstorm chuckled and extended the handle of his blade, revealing the gruesome, fleshy insides of the blades hilt and transforming it into the Banshee Shriek. He decided to keep Electra at a distance to avoid losing moe blood.

 

"Be grateful," he said arrogantly, "I've never felt it necessary to use this technique on a pony before!" He held out the blade like a staff so that the face on the hilt was facing Electra and cried, "Chorus of A THOUSAND SKULLS!"

 

On his command, spectral skulls began to fly out from the eyes and mouth of the Banshee Shriek. They were larger than any normal skull and had no bodies attached to them. They all moved in a group of over a hundred (but not quite a thousand) and most of them headed toward Electra with their mouths open. A few of them crashed into the stadium floor, leaving sizable craters in the solid rock; and others strayed of into the sky or flew around the audience.

Crimson perked his ears as he heard his name called on the speaker, informing him to come to the arena. Crimson sighed and turned to Whiplash. "That's my cue, cutie. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine, just cheer me on out there, ok?" he said with a smile, before giving Whiplash a small peck on the lips, and teleporting off to the arena before she could say anything. There, Crimson sat in the arena, looking around at the crowd with a bored expression as he leaned on Helios like a cane, waiting for Thunder to enter.

Blitz got an idea. He started to spin around soon forming a tornado in the air. He wanted to redirect the skulls back to Snowstorm. He thought that it may have an effect. He grabbed one of the skulls and threw it as he was still spinning inside the tornado. Because of the boost from the tornado, the skull darted towards Snowstorm.

Blue Hurricane had been scratching himself endlessly with his wing blades, preening off the itch that assaulted him. 

"So, where's my opponent?" the pegasus growled, continuing to scratch himself as he did. It was common practice to scan his foe before fighting them, see if they had any particular physical problems. The real test, of course, came from seeing them fight

"Your opponent is me and learn to wait a little, to rush into a fight is only to temp fate against you." Graceful said. She then noticed he was scratching himself. "What are you a child? scratching an itch will only make it worse then it is already."  Still getting to see other ponies fight before she went into her match would allow her to learn a little of them.

"No, the itch just went away" Blue clarified, having scraped off the last of his itch. "In any case, I think that you should learn to take life faster, the slow lane sucks" the pegasus said, buzzing his wings in preparation for his oncoming battle. Buzzing his wings warmed him up

(I'm in exam week, so my posts till Friday will be few and far between. Also, I want you to know that I don't plan to win this fight (I didn't want to win the first one, but I won by default.) so this fight is just me having fun.)

 

The skulls redirected themselves when they felt the presence of the Banshee Shriek to avoid harming its wielder. Many of them clumsily crashed into the arena floors and walls. A few even landed in the audience, but the majority of the skulls remaining flew back toward Electra.

Blitz then spun a little faster and used the velocity of the tornado to launch himself out of it. He noticed the skulls scattered around. He then darted toward Snowstorm at super fast speeds. At the last second, he faked the bail and went in for a hard frontkick to the chin.

"my life has always been on the fast lane. From the moment I was born my life was cursed. Death is only being a stone through away, and darkness being my only friend. Being born without pupils is just one curse of my power. I rather live my life slowly, no need to bring my end any faster then it should" She closed her eyes and thought over some thoughts she had. opening her eyes she turned to watch the fight.
"If I win I'll undo what my father has done, both on me and my half brother. If I lose my powers, That is a loss I can deal with" Her brother, how she missed him. He might not like losing his powers, but it would be better for them.
"Will you spend your life in fast line to the day you die? If so then you will end up on the door step of death before you know it"

When the kick would have landed, his hoof met nothing but airing his kick landed on the arena floor. Snowstorm was no longer standing in the same place, but no one had even seen him move.

 

"I didn't see this one coming! It looks like Snowstorm can teleport!" Topaz guessed.

 

"The announcer is close, but wrong. I didn't teleport, I simply stepped gently to the side." Snowstorm said smugly before he became blurry and appeared further away. "You are actually much faster than me, Electra, and I could never hope to match your speed. But the problem lies in your eyes. The eyes of you ponies are so slow, you can't even see something moving as fast as I am, but I can see you perfectly." The skulls had regrouped and finally came crashing down on Electra's side of the arena with great speed and force.

As he continued to stare at Snowstorm, he swiped his staff at Snowstorms legs to attempt to sweep him down.

As he continued to stare at Snowstorm, he swiped his staff at Snowstorms legs to attempt to sweep him down.

 

(I gave you ample warning for this in the last two posts, but I don't think you noticed. The skulls were still following you.)

 

Snowstorm jumped over the staff as it swung under him. Immediately afterward, he pointed above Electra's head as a large shadow formed above him. The spectral skulls had massed together into one solid, ghostly cloud above Blitz's head as he had paid no attention to them. They crashed down on him with destructive force over a wide area like a blanket if death falling from the sky as they casually avoided hitting Snowstorm.

Blitz let out a blast of telekinetic energy to dispel some of the dark energy when he turned his head. It was quick thinking. He geared himself up by charging an amount of telekinetic energy and saved it for when he needed it. To sort of distract Snowstorm, he began twirling his staff rapidly.
