Tough Luck used his whip and snapped it at the monsters, the first one that came he wrapped it around its neck and pulled back causing the monster to lose his head and disintegrate into smoke, he lashed the next one repeatedly until it was backed into a corner and was finally finished off. Two more monsters came at him and he pushed a wave of energy at them causing them to fall all over each other and he watched as his friends picked them off. "Woah nelly looks like we got a real fight on our hands here ponies," he said with a smile on his face as he pushed through more of them.

((Just so you know, I'm Dealing with Euryale, the second gorgon who can also turn people to stone))

 

Dead Eye noticed that the process of turning to stone was slow...good, that meant he had time. He notched his arrow again and looked right at the gorgon since it didn't matter if he looked or not anymore.

 

He let it fly and it hit her between the eyes. as she vaporized,he noticed the stone already got his knee and was making its way up. 

 

"Somepony get me a knife, quick!"

Hearing Dead Eye, she threw her ice dagger across the floor "Dead Eye!" She yelled "don't let them get you!" But she saw with a start that he was already turningnto stone. 'Oh gods. No!' She didn't want to lose one of her new friends. She hoped the dagger would work, and she wished despretly she could help.

Silver saw Dead Eye's alarming condition, and threw up a barrier of super-bright flame to temporarily blind him and force him to avert his gaze. Then he saw Eternity. "Go help Dead Eye!" He yelled to the others. He said to Eternity, "This might hurt quite a bit, but you need it." He began heating his hooves and using them to cauterize her wound. The singing looked painful, but it did stop the massive bleeding.

Hearing Dead Eye, she threw her ice dagger across the floor "Dead Eye!" She yelled "don't let them get you!" But she saw with a start that he was already turningnto stone. 'Oh gods. No!' She didn't want to lose one of her new friends. She hoped the dagger would work, and she wished despretly she could help.

 

Dead Eye caught the knife with his magic and without a second thought, cut off his leg before the stone spread anymore.

 

"GRAHHHHH!!!" he yelled, but it wasn't done yet. he then lit a flame in his other hoof and used it to cauterize the wound. he yelled during the whole process, but not a single tear was shed.

 

He then passes out from the pain.

Eternity wasn't sure what he was doing untill his hoves hit her wing. "Wait, what are you-" she broke off into a scream as he singed her flesh. When he finnished two perfect Imprints of his hooves burned forever into her back. She was weak, and soaked in blood, but thanks to Silver the bleeding stopped. She collapsedd d onto him.

The souls looked at blackie and spoke it hissed "his soul has moved on he accepted his death"

((I don't want him to die but he was stabbed by a sword in the side you die fast from stuff like that

Leif was there with dead eye dnd blocked his view dnd held up two mirrors so that dead eye could see

Midnight walked over to Eternity and looked at her wings. "I can fix them..." Her hooves started glowing.

 

Mia went over to Grell. "Can we resurect him??"

 

Dark looked sad, sighing.

 

Scout whined, nudging him. "Wake up..."

Snowstorm finally woke up again and started crying over Grell's body. And then she remembered something. Wiping her tears, she asked Leif, "Didn't we say that we could get any dead souls from the Underworld?" She asked it hoping with all her heart that there was another chance for Grell.

Leif looked over "in truth it's possible but given who grells dad is he may Be more protective of him or he may go to the other extreme and give grell his life back" Leif said

Grell and Thanatos hugged "dad" grell said " I want to stay here with you and act as a god"

Snowstorm sighed. "I hope that Thanatos will let him go... I can't believe this." Why had he accepted his death? He would be alone in the Underworld, possibly with only his da with him. And even worse, his da wouldn't be there often. She hoped that he would see sense.

Eternity could not believe that Grell was dead. She was especcially saddened by the grief Snowstorm was in. "Can... can we bring him back?" She asked tentitivly. "If the soulsnare returing from the underworld, maybe he'll get free!" She tried to sound optimistic, but Snowstorms cries were drowning out her words.

The reality of all of this hit Tough Luck like a ton of bricks. He hadn't realized the consequences of the true danger they were in until now. He was having fun, this was adventure, he was making friends. Now he realized how dangerous all of this was, and that the new friends he had just made could possibly leave him. He trotted over to a seat and sat down by himself.

Snowstorm nodded sadly and got up slowly. The temperature dropped just a bit, and stayed there. "I know we'll get him back," she said, hopefully. "I can't lose him." She wiped the tears from her eyes and sat down on a chair. She looked out the window as the scenery rushed past them. The temperature started to drop very slowly, basically unnoticeable. Not even Snowstorm felt the change.

She glared at middle distance, as though she were staring zeus in the face, telling him where to stick it.

Grell stayed there watching the dead and going with his dad to claim those that love past their life span

Panomma walked over to snowstorm and nuzzled her trying to cheer her up panomma was sad about grells death as well mainly because snowstorm and Leif where saddened by it panomma had never really spent time with grell

Midnight sighed. "We have all the pearls to go to the Underworld. We ended up not making it there. We couldn't find the place you can enter it from." She finished healing her wings. "There you go. good as new."

 

Mia started cleaning up his wound, stitching it back up. "We need to find a way to preserve his body until we can bring his soul back."

 

Dark nodded, sighing.

 

Scout was still crying.

Leif liked at them " we have found the way in and I've already taken care of the body" Leif said "now if you're taking grells death hard then go cry but have you're emotions in check before we go to the underworld" Leif said as he sat down in the format of the train car alone

Eternity turned slowly, painfully, to look at her back and the base of her wings. She gasped when she saw the burned-in hoof marks, and all the blood covering her soft pink coat. It was not something she was going to recover from easily.

Snowstorm smiled as Panomma nuzzled her, but her grief refused to go away, and the air continued to cool so very slowly. Snowstorm had just now started to realise the cooling, but there was nothing she could do to stop it until her grief went away.
