planning Skyrim/MLP RP?

A few friends and I are looking to do a crossover of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim but we don't know how many ponies would be interested or what exactly we would go for plot wise. I'm open to any suggestions and would love it if you let me know if you would be in for doing it.

WAY back in the day (2011...bleh, that's not very long ago) when I first joined the pony craze, I envisioned a ponified version of the horse my skyrim character rode. That led me to envision a daedra pony and I loved the idea. Kinda bat-pony-ish with a hint huge helping of demon and monochromatic eyes (which is totally not inspired by supernatural's demons ) . Maybe when I finally kick the vector bug and I get my sketching skill to where I'm comfortable sharing the results with others I'll draw it out.

Sounds like an rp that could be interesting.  I have enjoyed plalying Morrowind & Oblivion.  Though while my current desktop can't play Skyrim I have been watching a person who's been uploading Skyrim let's plays for over a year now I think it is.

Many years after the final stories of the one called The Dragonborn died to time, an ancient darkness begins to personify, and with it comes the return of the darkest of the dragons, Alduin. Shocked from this, many vow to find, or make, a new Dragonborn. Enter the new Dragonborn. After 7 generations of being idle, receives a call to arms against the evil Alduin, and his newfound darkness. Doing this, he regains his confidence as the Dragonborn. But realizes he may not be able to stop Alduin alone this time. Now, the Dragonborn must find others with his abilities, and the group must team up to fight the deadliest of all evils, and the darkest of corruption, in an epic battle for the ages. Who will triumph? Who will live? Who will die? It's time to find out...

 

How was that? Even if it's I impressive, I'd love to join this! If you need any help, message me.

That's a shame. It really is an awesome game. I think it's better than Oblivion in some ways.

Oblivion is my favorite game of all time...and I am sorry that you were never able to play Skyrim. It's amazing

It looks amazing from the let's plays the person is doing has done.  In his latest 2 let's plays he's doing he has a bunch of mods installed.  He did for his argonian mage also.  He stopped doing that one and started doing both an argonian warrior and argonian assassin.  He mentions in the videos he tried to go back to do some of the argonian mage but each save file was almost 40meg so he won't be finishing that one due to what he called save game bloat.  To bad, that one had almost all the quests finished.

I guess instead of having races such as Nords, Argonians, Khajit and so on it'll be earth ponies, unicorns, pegasus, griffons?

Pretty much. I imagine it would go something like:

 

Earth: Nord

Pegasus: Breton/Imperial

Unicorn: High Elf

Griffon: Khajiit/Argonian 

Zebra: Wood Elf

Changeling: Dark Elf

How about some other hoofed species like crystal ponies, buffaloes and cows.  Though cows & buffaloes seem to live mainly separate from ponies.  & crystal ponies live all in one place.  So those may not fit.

 

Though I could see Buffaloes being like Orcs.

Pretty much. I imagine it would go something like:

 

Earth: Nord

Pegasus: Breton/Imperial

Unicorn: High Elf

Griffon: Khajiit/Argonian 

Zebra: Wood Elf

Changeling: Dark Elf

I think some of these should be kept seperate, like changling.

Here's the art. I'll make the character ASAP. I was thinking he would be a disciple of Hermeaus Mora or Mehrunes Dagon. Probably Mora because he's soooooo badass AND!! He's the daedra of knowledge and you enter his realm through his grimoires, which are big ol books in case you're wondering.                        (Twilight is BONED!)>

He could be like a semi-shapeshifter in that he could take the form of a plain pony but could turn back into his daedra form at will. He'd also be pretty friggin powerful too, being a dremora and all.
