Her pen writing neat little words and hearts swirled around the words. She drew a picture of herself and a stallion but than crossed him out. She growled and slammed the pen down.

Volt looked at the mare, he then looked at his bootle, then the mare and the bootle again.. finally he took the bootle and trown it out of the nearest window

 

"please tell me that i didn't just heard that song only bacause of the alchool.. because... awesome.. is not a word strong enough... wow... you.. you are.. you are you! i mean.. the way you are is ..wha"

 

he kicked his head on the counter

*He opens his eyes and looks up at the familiar dragon face smiling warmly down at him, he stands up and slumps against the dragons large scaly leg, trying to keep himself propped up, holding his bad leg off the ground, it still hurt alot but it already felt a little better, the bleeding had almost stopped now thanks to the leaf and vines, he grinned up wryly at the dragon, his face and mane looking a little battered, strangely though he felt oddly happy and exhilarated, feeling like him old self again*

 

Sure has my old friend   *He hops towards Night Lights front on his three good legs, he smiles and nuzzles the dragon as he lowers his head down, he closes his eyes a bit enjoying to see his large scaly friend again*  God I've missed you both *Pokes him with his hoof playfully and grins* *A slightly guilty look crosses his face* Sorry for not coming to visit you in your cave friend we have been very... caught up with recent affairs  

 

*He chuckles lightly and nuzzles the Pegasus gently, making him wobble a little and hop back*   Don't worry about friend And I heard about that! You proposed to Callette didn't you?  

 

Yeah, about two months ago, I asked her in the middle of her favorite restaurant, luckily she said yes  *He blushes slightly and grins* Have to say it was the most nerve wracking experience of my life!  Shes coming back from visiting her family in a little under two weeks , then we have to start planning things!  *He jumped excitedly and winced, clanging his bad hoof on the floor accidentally, he winced and staggered a bit , smiling as the dragon helped prop him up*

 

Woah there friend  Easy now *Nudges him gently and allows the Pegasus to rest up against him* We can exchange 'war tales'    Later but first we must discuss the matter at hand *he turns to shard nodding respectfully  as he speaks* So, Shard, Leader of the diamond dogs, I am a representative for the dragon clan in this matter, let us discuss the terms of a treaty civilly and my wife will finalize the agreement as long as it is equally fair for both parties.

 

*He sits against the dragons leg and smiles as the trio begin discussing the terms of the agreement, he flicks open his pendant again and looks at the picture of Callette. However this time instead of feeling down and depressed he was filled with the hope of seeing his love again, his heart swelled a little seeing her grinning face looking back at him and he pecked a small kiss on the picture before snapping it shut again* 

 

*Trots over to Skylar, kneeling down and nuzzling him, still limping a little* Are you sure you will be okay there while we sort this out bro? It's pretty cold, don't want you getting a chill as well *takes off her cloak and gently places it around him like a blanket, puts a hoof over his mouth as he was about to protest* Don't worry, we have a way to keep warm  *Nods up to night lights who snaps a few branches off a nearby tree, piling them up on the ground in the middle of them, he takes a deep breath and sets the branches. The fire illuminates the gloom, they all sigh a little feeling the warmth, Skylar holds out his  good hoof to the fire, smiling gently and closing his eyes a little, she turns towards shard* So let us begin

Their leader Arrow Tip, silver dragon. He couldn't come himself with me due to his mate is laying her first brood. Do you know of him Shard?

 

Yes...the one who slaughtered one of my mates... *he growled in frustration and sadness till he felt Blissy's hoof place on his shoulder in comfort*

 

Forgive me Shard...*he continued* But even Arrow Tip claims that your pack is responsible for smashing some of their broods and nests this year.

Ahem *clearing his throat to proceed* Arrow Tip has agreed since he was unware of the claimed terroritories, he was willing to share in the terrorties, both sides having equal reign of the gems forged under ground. He'd be willing to share out of one request?

 

Requests... *he shrugged* and what are those?

 

He tells me that they suffer from lack of gems and dimaonds as well, its difficult for dragons to dig access to get at the richer resources below... his request is that your pack help in assisting them to claim their hoards so that they can regain their losses for food and skin presserving. They need the gold, gems and diamonds for health benefits as well as food.

It is Shard...dragons are in dire need of the resources as much as your pack members are.

 

This request does NOT go without benefits to you though Shard. He also claims in exchange for your help in providing gems for the dragons and their hoards, they will provide your pack members with extra protection from the Evergreen forest wildlife, and other packs that seek to steal from you. They will also share in your fingings equally split down the middle 50%. No side goes more then the other.

 

*He ponders, putting his paw under his chin then turns to his cloest pack members to discuss it in private. After several minutes of conversation, Shard replies* Tis is very acceptable! Dragon protectors whilst we mine for gems? Tis is good bargain! Yes wes split ours findings while gaining protection by dragon fire! Brilliancy!

 

*She smiled and looked up to her loving husband and nuzzled him then Skylar* Then it is in agreement, does anyone have parchment or quill?

Good work Nights you brilliant dragon you! *She pulled out an uneeded feather and with her levitation, began writing out the agreement. Once it was down, she allowed Shard to read it followed by Night Lights. When both were in agreement, Nights blew his own fire at the tip of his claw and made the Evergreen Forest scorch mark of the dragon clans here, and Shard placed his paw in dirt ink on the parchment. She then followed by pulling out a stamp ink from her saddle bag in golden coloring, placed her hoof in the ink and placed her alicorn hoof mark on the parchment* It is done, congradulations Shard, I knew you'd be brilliant in negotiations!

 

Thank ous Alicorn Lightning Bliss! *bows to her, despite it made her uncomfortable* I shall take this parchment to the dragon clans of the forest, that is if it is safe?

 

It will be safe Shard, I had promised the clans only you would come forward, and that if you held the parchment on your form for them to see, then they will know an agreement is struck. You can move in with them when you and your pack members are ready.

 

*Howls into the night with delight* Then wes shall do so! Thank ous again! *he wagged his tail and he ran into his whole followed by his members, leaving the two ponies and the dragon alone*

 

Nights? *she finally asked* How did you know we were out here?

 

I didn't *he exclaimed* I got a letter from an odd gray pegasi mare with a wild looking stare, she gave me a letter that was from my mother, telling me about the fighting going on with our cousins in the Evergreen Forest. I came here to investiage with them. I knew that you probably got the same letter too but was surprised you weren't home yet. So I took it upon myself to visit my cousins and see if I couldn't keep things calm till you got here. Glad as I was flying over before heading back home that I spotted you two, looked like you both could use some help.

 

You brilliant dragon! *hugs him tightly* So, will you be heading home then?

 

Of course, aren't you coming with me?

 

No, I think me and Skylar would like to hang at a tavern for a bit, if you like to come along? He needs a bit of a rest after our little encounter with a rogue timber wolf.

 

Never a dull moment with you two is there? Well... sadly I can't, I got gems in the mountains to mine on my own. But I will give you both a lift if you want? *he offered his wing for them to climb up on which they did eagerly*

 

That will be great, thank you my love! *He leapt into the air easily out of the forest and headed for Ponyville, landing in a farm field just outside the tavern*

 

I'll see you back at the cave later then my love. Take care of her Skylar, and for the love of Celestia you two stay out of trouble! *he grinned and took off into the night before anypony could see him*

 

*They waved back to him then she helped limping Skylar back into the tavern, surprised to see more new faces were now at the bar. @@arkman575  @ @Doc. Volt She could see Seth and Volt back as well as the gryphon from before along with a few other new ponies. Quickly she took her cape and hood back from Skylar and placed it back on her, covering her wings and horn once again*

 

Sorry Skylar...*she said feeling sord of guilty* I just don't feel like I'm ready for all the attention... *she helped him to a seat, then went to the bar to speak with Seth about bandages trying to ignore the bustle of Volt and his new mare friend talking friskly back and forth to each other*
