*Listening to his story intently...tears rolled out of her eyes hearing about his losses...his exposure and his missing of over a thousand years...gone in an instant, over a war she never knew of only from books...She looked at her hooves then and felt short sighted...like she had not seen the bigger picture*

 

What if...what if I were there during that war...if I had my powers then...if I understood them...could I have helped to prevent such a war...so...so good beings like you *she placed her hoof on his paw* didn't have to suffer so much...? Icarus' mask lifted slightly the reveal bare skin with no fur.the skin was a dark sickly shade of gray with purple veins pulsating underneath it.

 

"That is exactly my point.... Mine could have been prevented....Your deaths were inevitable.....But anyways" Icarus helped him up and looked to the bartender, hoping to get a nice drink.

Things were getting a little tense with everypony telling their live story. Seth didn't want to sound rude but this was a little much for him. Seeing two troubled ponies approaching his bar, Seth pulled out a bottle of Dutch for Volt and a bottle of strong griffon gin for the new one. He pored the glasses as both just sat down. Being a wolf, he could hear anything in the bar, but it wasn't hard to hear what these two were saying. They were not being too discreet about it. Walking back to Bliss, he took the picture back and smiled at her. 

 

"We need ponies like you. We need ponies to keep the peace that I nearly let slip into another war. Never lose confidence in yourself. You have settled many conflicts already. I honor that in you."

*Sensing his admiration but concern being so intuned to feelings due to her powers, she nodded to him and swiftly turned to remove herself from a crowded, rowdy audience. She gently bumped into Icarus as she head back to @Skylar still sitting on the couch, being pested that that silly mare who was flirting with Volt not too long ago. She could sense the pain and violent passed from the odd stallion...but thought it best to still keep her head down at least talk wise.*

Ahem...*She snorted at the pink/purple mare* He's injured you know, and if you have somewhere you need to be, might want to head on over there please and leave my good friend alone? He's had a rough night no offense please... *She got between the two, no longer hiding the fact she was in fact an alicorn. She kept her cape on for the warmth, but no longer hid her horn or wings*

 

Tough bunch aye Skylar? *she said with a new found confidence* Dunno why I feel better keeping the hood off my head... I just hope I don't regret it later.

*He looks a little taken a back by the mares reaction and slumps back further into his chair, looking a bit sheepish* Ummmm  *he breathes a sigh of relief as Bliss heads towards him and stands between the two, grinning as the spoke sternly to the mare, he nodded and shuffled, trying to get comfortable on his leg, he closed his eyes and winced feeling pain run up his thigh* Ughhh Yep... Tough bunch...  *Looks up at her and nuzzles* Thanks for helping me out there Sis, I really don't feel up to arguing tonight... just want to hang out with you and relax *Snuggles into your shoulder and smiles* You shouldn't have to hide under your hood Bliss, your beautiful the way you are, be proud of who you are, im sure as hell proud of you

StarShine didn't accept this alicorn getting in her way. We blurted out "IM IN CELESTIAS SCHOOL FOR GIFTED PONIES!" She covered her mouth after that came out. SHE said. "I don't care that your an alicorn!" She snorted and pushed her away. She took a. Swig of her cider and closed her book and stalked away. Her wings stretching out. What everyone didn't know was that she was Studying magic. That's why she was such a bookworm and didn't share her backstory often.

Seeing the injured pony walk over to him, Seth met him at the counter. He pulled out a fresh glass and filled it to the brim for the stallion. Pulling a bowl chips from under the counter, the wolf gave a small smile.

 

"Were you moaning from the pain or the chips?" He asked, taking the old glass and placing it with the others he needed to clean. "Also, if it isn't an issue. Could you answer me a question? What does it mean when a pony says 'they basically threw me to the wolves.'?"

Try not to worry about it Skylar, *she placed a hoof on him to keep him from moving so much from the mare's attitude* she's just...too distracted with her reading to consider other ponies circumstances... *she heard Volt request to keep it peaceful and happily respected it, again shrugging off her irritation and sipped on her cider* Alicorn or not though she shouldn't have treated you or me that way... "Hey you there, you want me to fix that? I can bandage it and fix it so that way you can actually walk on it" Icarus said, still sounding sad, and still a bit angry due to no one even caring about what he had done.

Starshine growled "IM NOT SNOBBISH! YOU TAKE THAT BACK! IM NOT A HUSSY!" She snarled and focused hard. Suddenly a flash on light papered and she was gone.

 

StarShine opened her eyes to see she was in her room. At the school. She sighed and crumpled to the floor in shame at getting so mad.

 

 

(She's like cadence. She was able to use magic without a horn. She can just do basic spells. Like levitation and teleporting.)

Seeing as he was probably not getting his answer from Skyler, Seth kept his eyes on the bar to make sure nothing was about to go down. Turning to Volt, he assumed he could aske him and maybe get a good conversation started with his friend.

Seeing Volt walk away, Seth didn't know who to turn to next. Deciding to just find out what the phrase meant, Seth asked the masked pony. "If it isn't an issue, Could you answer me a question? What does it mean when a pony says 'they basically threw me to the wolves.'?"

 

Seeing the unmasked face, Seth backed up a bit.

 

"You know what, I'm good." He said with a bit of a sheepish grin.
