"Heh, your home sounds quite simplistic. My home is actually a castle floating inside of an eternal storm. It is inside of a pocket dimension, cause it allows me peace from other ponies unless I want them there with me. " Icarus explained to them, as he though about his home.

*Whinnies as he zips through the air above the tavern, taking care to keep his leg pinned tight against his chest, it had only been about twenty minutes but already he felt totally invigorated, his mane was blown back wildly looking out of shape but he didn't mind in the slightest.  Darts back down towards the tavern and hovers in front of the arch near the entrance, he sits on it carefully propping himself up and kicking his legs over the side playfully, rocking backwards slightly as the wind gusts him, he shivers with delight feeling the cold wind against his now slightly sweaty face*    *Looks down at the tavern, hearing the hustle and bustle of activity inside but he decides to stay sat outside for a while*

WOW a castle hidden in clouds!!!??  *she felt a shiver excitment of what it would be like to see sucha thing, then quickly dropped it, feeling she was over exaggerating* erm... I mean...that's impressive *paws the ground*

I didn't say that! I love our cave! It took me a long time to clean it up you know, with all your gold bits and gems all over the place! It's just... I don't see royal places very often. I feel out of my element when I am in them as well at the same time, I dunno, I guess I'm just silly *coughs and turns to Sole* Your spouse was knocked on the head by Crimson??? *she blinked at the pirate* Good thing I wasn't there! I might have poked you in the rear with my horn Crimson!

 

Like you did with that rogue dragon the night after our honeymoon? *he giggled* gave him a good gash in the rear. Pony heck he roared so loud I could have sworn he cried out for his mama, before... *he stopped then, realizing the story of her and Skylar was almost spluttered up. He sipped his cider and shrugged it off* That was when she didn't have a clue how to use her powers... so she used her horn to the next best thing. I'm surprised unicorns don't use their horns more often as a physical weapon! Hers defiently hurts *he rubs his rear, displaying his latest bruise where she poked him*

sole laughed "a knock on the head? Nah, it was more crimson getting his flank kicked until he decided to actually use his powers. But she was pissed when she woke up." He said, before laughing again at the story "yeah, I just don't understand why some ponies don't use the tools their given. I know they've got magic, but those horns and hooves are good in a fight if they know how to use them." He said with a shrug

Crimson chuckles nervously. "Hehehe...yeah...funny..." he said, pulling the brim of his hat lower over his face to hide his blush. "I hate to hit mares...I only used my powers to knock her out, but I still feel awful about it...so I won't hit any female creature...it's a weakness..." he said quietly.

*Continues to sit on the archway for a few moments before hovering back down to the ground, stumbling a bit as he landed he curses under his breath and pushes the door open to the tavern again, he walks in and blinks at the sudden heat and noise, standing for a second in the doorway looking disheveled but happy

She blushed, and kept close to Shamrock. "S-stop it... Y-you're much more beautiful than me..."  She closed her eyes, again letting Shamrock guide her through the night. She felt like she could live in this moment forever...

 

"I love you so much, Shammy..." She was smiling, blissfully.

He swiftly drinks the second pint and rests his chin on the table. " Uhhh. Why must i be tired?" With his chin still on the table he looks up to the ceiling, his vision a little blurry. He starts humming a little beat, then starts making words for the music. 

" When you walk through a storm,

  Hold you head up high,

  And don't be afraid,

  Of the dark." 

After that he blacks out.

"Yes, I guess it could be impressive... the castle is odd though. It's hallways and corridors go on for miles, I have only a fraction of the place mapped, winch is the area  I live in. Heh, maybe I could show you all sometime, it could more than likely accommodate Night in his dragon form comfortably as well" Icarus said, thinking about his home for a second.

*She giggled at the thought of Night Lights trying to just fit in a regular door in his dragon form before continuing* Maybe we will take yup up on that some time good Icarus. And maybe you can come and visit our cave!

 

Been a while since we've had visiters. Ah Skylar! *he noticed the white stallion limp in* Was just talking about the idea of visting Icarus' holding and vice versa. Just realized its been awhile since you've been our cave, well other then for tonight. We ought to have a party at our place some time, to you know um... celebrate your big day!

 

I'm staying out of the bachelor party planning if you don't mind! *She giggled and turned to Sole and Crimson* So...either you two know a thing about magic? I only ask because I'm still trying to learn... I've figured out teleportation over short distances, and levitating to some extent. But for the most part only out of instinct do I use...what I guess I'm capable of... *paws the counter* You two just seem to have had experiences with magic... some tips would be appreciated...

Crimson chuckled, taking a long and seemingly enjoyable swig of rum, before responding. "Hehehe, sorry miss Bliss...I'm a master level fire elemental, level but when it comes to basic magic, I only know the simple stuff, like levitation, light, teleportation, shield, an offensive magic blast, and one eavesdropping spell...but I'm not teaching you that last one..." he said with a smile.

Sole was in the middle of drinking when the mare asked him about magic, and he nearly spit his cider all over the bar. After gulping it down he laughed nervously " uh, no. Nope. I don't know anything about magic. I mean c'mon, I'm a griffon. How could I possibly know magic of any kind. Hehe.... " he said nervously, straightening his hat.

 Shamrock leans her head against Ambiance's and nuzzles her. "I love you too, darling." She felt that was all she needed to say. She was loving this moment to say anything else. When they made it to her place, without thinking she stood on her hind legs and scooped up Ambiance and takes her to her room while closing the door behind her. She sits her down on the bed and takes her hat back and tosses it on the hat rack. She then got in and got as close as she could to her and nuzzles into her mane.

I can't even do those! *sulks* And you Mr. Sole...I could have sworn I saw you...no...I sensed you, you used your feelings...instinctual power of some sort, to heal Seth's neck didn't you? Yes... I mean I know it sounds crazy and you're a gryphon and all. But if a zebra pony can make magical potions then why can't a gryphon use magic, am I right? Oh um... *realizes she's pushing* sorry... I'm desperate to learn is all...from anyone!

 

*Grins as she tries to get help with her magic then turns to Skylar* Hmm... well... it'd be a first I ever plan sucha party, what do you want to do on sucha occassion? Tear up Ponyville and flirt with some single mares? Go out to eat and get sugar drunk on grape juice and apple cider?

sole sighed and slumped at the bar with a resigned expression "it's not quiet that simple... And no other griffon can do it as far as I know." He said quietly, before sipping his cider again. He didn't know how they'd react to knowing his parentage, but he didn't want them finding out.

Excuse me for a moment Crimson *she turned to Sole then and leaned in so only he and she could hear each other* I... know it's not my business, and it doesn't take this silly alicorn sixth sense to tell your uncomfortable...But I admit when I say I am desperate to learn the founding bases of magic... otherwise I am an undisciplined pony in the studies of such a thing... It was said to have power comes great respect and responsbility for it...Well I know next to nothing about magic, I have no control over myself... I feel like I'm an accident waiting to happen, and in the field I'm working...I can't afford mistakes...

 

So please... *she placed her hoof next to his talon* I'm begging...whatever your secret is, I'll respectfully keep it secret. I only ask for a little bit of guidance on my magical path. Besides, my mama always said its never right to gossip...but you don't know me well and I can understand that heh *squee*

sole sighed deeply and planted his forhead on the counter with a dull thunk. After a moment, he sat up again and straightened his hat. "Fine, if you really want to know then I'll show you. But don't get out your pitchforks just yet." He said monotonously, before snapping his fingers (talon?). With a small flash of light all of the tables and chairs turned to cardboard, the floor and counter grew checkered patterns, and cotton candy clouds appeared floating near the ceiling. "the sins of the father are not those of the son..." he mumbled

"Well, that's an interesting development...an alicorn princess needing help to learn magic...I really never thought I'd see that happen...are you sure you want the help of a scoundrel like me, miss Bliss? I'm not even a very good mage, myself..." he asked with a chuckle, continuing to drink, not even batting an eyelash when Sole used magic. "Hey, hey, watch it Sole...I don't care about the furniture and stuff, but you came a little close to chaosizing the rum..." he said calmly.

*Gasps as white light fills the room he shields his eyes with one wing, slowly peeking out to see the transformed room, he opened his eyes wide and looked down at his empty glass wondering if he had really drunk that much cider, he blinked and looked around again sure enough the room had actually transformed. Shoots a worried look over at the Gryphon and looks confused* What the? ...     *Slides back a little on his stool away from him*

By the fire and winds that made... *his crest stood up, his ears flatten, his nostrials flared with smoke and fire* Is...is this YOUR doing Sole...? Or are you....the demon serpent Discord HIMSELF??? :okiedokielokie:

 

*She stummbled back, tripping over her cloak and fell on her rup, squishing the cardboard that was once a table* Oh by the Princesses...you...you're...you're his...son??? *realizes Nights is trying to pull her away from the counter and shrugs him off* Stop it Nights... he's not Discord.... but he has relations with him. Calm down nothing bad is going to happen...*She approached Sole after regaining her composure* So...chaotic magic... by the one Discord? *She placed her hoof next to his talon again, showing no fear but concern* I'm sorry... that must be hard to live with... yes we have had runins with your predicessor...*She turned to Crimson then* Why is it so suprising to you that an alicorn can't control magic but this gryphon can?
